Taryn did my makeup for my wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier! She is known throughout the city and came highly recommended by a lot of people. I highly recommend a trial - did one with her and I thought I wanted full coverage and a bold lip colour for the wedding day but I ended up going for a much softer/natural look. I had the pleasure of working with Taryn in May for my wedding. Taryn is absolutely the most talented makeup artist I know! I was so fortunate enough that she was available for my wedding date only months before, as my makeup artist plans had fell through on such short notice. I had Taryn as my makeup artist for my wedding on August 10th, 2019. She was nothing short of fantastic! I had two trials with her where we finalized my wedding look. She made detailed notes about the products she used during the trial. She is great at responding in a timely manner and is very organized. During my trials, Taryn was so helpful and patient. It’s clear she cares about her clients and makes sure they feel their best on their big day! On my wedding day, Taryn and her second artist arrived on time and were so well prepared. They brought their own table for their stuff, lighting, and a huge variety of products! They completed my makeup, my mom’s, and my four bridesmaids. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! My bridesmaids had a range of desired looks, with some being comfortable with heavier looks and others wanting a more natural look. The girls all looked absolutely beautiful and still all looked cohesive despite different preferences! I can’t recommend Taryn enough, she is so lovely, friendly, and talented. Taryn Miller was the makeup artist for my wedding in July 2019, for myself, bridal party and mothers of the bride/groom. Taryn was absolutely wonderful to work with! She is a true professional. Taryn answered all my questions and emails promptly and made room in her busy schedule for two trials with me. She came prepared (and early) to our venue with everything she needed. Her kind, patient and calm presence helped make the morning go smoothly. I was SO excited to book Taryn as my MUA for my wedding and once I did my trial I knew her and her team would be a perfect fit! Not only is she professional, organized and honest, Taryn brought a calm and excitement to the wedding trials and day of! Taryn and her associate artist did AMAZING work on myself, my babes of bridesmaids and moms. This was so important for me to have them looking but also feeling their best. It was THE HOTTEST day of the summer and the make up held up all day- photos, dancing and crying! As soon as I got engaged I contacted Taryn to find out her availability for the 2019 wedding season. I was thrilled about working with Taryn, as I had seen previous bridal looks that her and her team had done. From our first contact via email, Taryn was professional and easy to work with. Since I was travelling from out of town, I scheduled my bridal trial the day before my wedding. Taryn was so thoughtful and followed up with me that same night to see how the makeup was wearing/lasting throughout the night (in case we needed to do product changes for the following day). The trial application was flawless, and no product changes were required.The following day, we had 7 people getting their makeup done by Taryn and her team, and we were on a very tight schedule. The makeup team arrived ahead of time to set up, and completed all of the makeup and lash applications with plenty of time to spare before the photos. All of the makeup was tailored to bring out each bridesmaid’s features, while still creating a cohesive overall look for the bridal party. No words to express about my service and experience with Taryn from day 1 of communication, to my bridal trial, to booking and right up to the day of the wedding. She was always available to chat about my ideas and concerns about my makeup for my special day. She showed up to my house super prepared and set up shop and was ready to go. She made my mom and mother in law look so wonderful, my matron of honor and bridesmaids weren't overdone. Just had their natural beauty amped up. And well.... I hired Taryn as my wedding MUA as she came highly recommended by my sister in law (a new MUA in the area). I was so impressed by her professionalism, down to earth personality, and her versatility. I had 8 bridesmaids as well as my mom and mother in law and everyone has very different styles and comfort zones with makeup yet Taryn and her assistant Anthonia were able to perfectly capture what everyone wanted. Taryn is amazing! Not only is she a professional make-up artist, but she also has an amazing personality. It’s obvious Taryn is passionate in what she does and cares about her customers’ needs and what they’re looking for. She explains exactly what she’s doing and how she’s applying the makeup and the products she’s using. I asked Taryn to do my makeup for my engagement shoot as well as for my wedding day- she was phenomenal! Taryn is the biggest sweetheart, and she is amazing at what she does. If you are a person who hates getting makeup done because you leave having to fix it, Taryn is the one you need. Her application is flawless, and lasted through MANY tears. Having the trial (that I ended up wearing for my bridal shower) was 100% worth it, as I was able to make some small adjustments before the big day. Taryn did the makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding. She was absolutely phenomenal! The main thing that drew me to Taryn was that her portfolio consists of multicultural women. And just as I expected, she skillfully handles everyone’s complexion, from white to black and everything in between! I knew when I got engaged, one of the first things I wanted to booked was Taryn for my makeup. Taryn is so talented in what she does! She is so personable + truly an artist. She listens to what you want and her attention to detail does not go unnoticed. I did a bridal trial with her before the wedding which I definitely reccomend so she can perfect your makeup before the wedding and become familiar with your face. I had the pleasure of meeting Taryn as a make-up artist at Mac many years ago. I knew at that point that when I got married, I’d want her to do my bridal makeup. She is the definition of a true artist. She is kind, humble and organized. On my wedding day my makeup was perfection and it was everything I had asked for and more. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life. She was able to do 9 people included myself the day of the wedding and worked non stop to ensure we ran on time. I met Taryn through work a couple years ago and when I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding I knew she was the right choice. She asked a lot of questions and took detailed notes during my bridal trial. I was indecisive and not sure what I wanted. She did great work for my trial, and when I changed my mind completely she was very understanding and accommodating in our correspondences over email and made me feel totally confident the day of. The look she did for my wedding day was 100% different than what we had practiced during my trial, and still looked amazing. Even thought I struggled to articulate what I was looking for, Taryn's knowledge and skill clearly showed as she came up with a look even better than I was imagining. Words can not express how amazingly talented Taryn truly is. I first contacted her for my engagement shoot and I met her at her private studio. She has a way that makes you feel so comfortable, as though you're just hanging out with a girlfriend.
