When I first contacted Andrew, he was quick to respond and had already driven by my property so he could give me an accurate quote for spring clean-up and weekly maintenance.
I never had to wonder when they were coming (my previous lawn care company I had to regularly be on top of because they missed weeks, or didn't complete the service that was agreed upon), it was such a load off, just to know things were being taken care of.
Also, when I gave them additional projects with specific needs and budgets they had no trouble working within those limits.

I have been using Andrew for the last two years and I think it is about time to write a review. We use Andrew for our Lawn and garden maintenance. He is a very down to earth guy who does an excellent job. He is punctual on cutting the lawn and maintaining all garden beds, shrubs and edging. He also make suggestions when he sees any problems. The property is truly professionally maintained.I have used Andrew in the past for removing and disposing of some shrubs and trees around my property. He does a good job on the fall clean up which makes the Spring a quick start up.His price is very reasonable. We have a corner lot and it has been a tremendous help for my wife and I in terms of the work that Andrew does. Andrew and his wife do fantastic work - our front and back yards were completely overgrown and damaged in many places, but by the time they were finished it looked incredible! They also did great work designing the flowerbeds, trees, and clearing the concrete paths. I've never met Andrew at Stonehouse Property Care personally, I found him through Homestars and talked to him via email, and he comes across as a straight shooter. I hired him to take care of my Mother's lawn out in East York since I live in Guelph and can't do it for her on a weekly basis. His crew literally goes in first thing in the morning once a week and leaves an immaculate lawn for my Mom when she gets up. Andrew is absolutely fantastic. Stonehouse was hired for spring cleaning, and our lot being a corner lot was in quite a mess. A lot of debris from sidewalk traffic, and even piles of dog poop accumulated over the winter. Not to mention, our garden(s) were in complete disarray and overgrown with weeds. To add to the mess, the ice storm this past winter dropped a bunch of branches and such in our back yard.In the span of just 1 day, Andrew turned the property around. He did a detailed spring cleaning job - a full lawn cut with edging, hedge cutting, debris cleanup, de-weeding a plot of gardon + 2 flower beds and general maintenance. I have never seen it this clean, this well pruned and cared for in such great detail. Stonehouse is worth every bit and I have not experienced such level of professionalism, cleanliness and quality of work for our property in the time that we've lived here. Stonehouse was hired for spring cleaning. Andrew was easy to get in touch with and an excellent communicator. He answered my questions in a timely manner and he and his crew arrived on time and did an excellent job of spring cleaning. Andrew responded quickly to my appeal for help (!) and then ensured that my large perennial garden was made to look lovely once more. He removed dead trees (planted by a previous gardener in a place where there was no sun), divided perennials and made several recommendations for improvements that I can implement over time. No reviews for months?!? That's because we dominated Andrew's time for over 2 months. Andrew and his team did a complete renovation of our front yard, both sides of our house and the backyard. He also found some time in there to build a fence. All of this while having to work under some challenging and stressful situations. But he kept his cool, dug out dirt, laid down patio stones, installed a sprinkler system, added river rock strategically for design, laid down new sod and yes, he built that darn fence with a solid gate. What doesn't this guy do? And you won't find a friendlier, more responsive landscaper in the business. He actually shows up when he says he will. Truly, an outstanding job. I hired Stonehouse Property care last summer to pull out this horrid bush and resod my disaster of a back yard and did a fantastic job!
Andrew and his crew made sure to be on time each morning. They worked hard and were able to finish the job sooner than estimated. They were also very neat and left no garbage or evidence that they were even here.

We actually learned our lesson the hard way when getting our spring clean up and resod done last year. Andrew was one of the many companies to quote us on the work and told us that the estimate given was the best especially since he ensures that the quality exceeded our expectations. But we opted to go for a cheaper company (not Stonehouse Property Care) thinking there can't be much to a clean up and resod and maintenance . We were so wrong! The other company which is listed here on Homestars actually botched everything up. They removed shubbery that they claimed were weeds gone wild but were actually potentilas, didn't actually remove all winter debris and then ripped up our lawn (stomping on perennials in the flower beds) and left our yard lumpy with random slabs of sod everywhere. It was so bad that we ended up calling Andrew and his crew to see if he could re-do everything, that's when we hired Stonehouse Property Care Inc. Not only did Andrew show no hard feelings, but he did such an exquisite job on the damage control. He edged our garden beds so beautifully, evened out the lumps in the yard and properly laid down the sod. Not only did he do that, but he made sure we knew the importance of how to maintain the sod for the first few weeks, we had no idea that OCD watering was required, which is when he suggested a sprinkler system that could be timed and be one less thing for us to worry about. We have been using Andrew's services since 2008. We have a large one acre plus property in Toronto. They have worked on: weeding, leaf removal, snow removal, cutting grass, tree trimming, cleaning windows and eves. I like dealing with Andrew he is very customer services driven and if there are problems he deals with them quickly. I also like that he is on top of his quotes and invoicing. They came to tidy up a large back garden - overrun with fruit trees - as well as clean up a front garden. They worked extremely hard, were fast, polite and really really nice people. Andrew is very attentive, helpful and responsive. It was nice to email him a list of questions, he met with us and gave us a detailed quote, and then we started coming home from work to find big bags of trimmed tree limbs, shrubs, weeds, overgrown plants and the like all neatly stacked up by the curb for pickup. He has also been helpful with advice and provided good pest control services. He's also a really nice, personable and knowledgeable guy that is really responsive to calls or emails; and very affordable compared to some of the landscape companies that are also highly rated on here. Andrew was very good to deal with and answered all my questions before I agreed to his service, and I never felt pressured. The crew of three men showed up exactly when they said they would! They walked through the garden with us to discuss what our needs were and what they would do. Then we left for work and left the crew to do their job. We came home from work eight hours later to an impecably clean garden. The transformation was unbelievable!
