I hired them to do a move out clean and added capers and deep clean. The team showed up over an hour late which led to move in overlap. They didn’t even wipe down kitchen cabinets and I spent an hour after they left doing their job. They didn’t steam carpets due to move in overlap and requested refund for this service as it wasn’t delivered. I received an apology but note that it was our fault. My cleaner bailed on me hours before my new tenants were set to arrive. I messaged Steamates, and within fifteen minutes I had a reply. Peggy-Jean called me and had my estimate sent out in less than five minutes. Forty-five minutes later Frank arrived, ready for action. He was professional, relaxed and had a great demeanour. He was efficient and was happy to work with my time frame to get the most important things cleaned. Frank did such a great job my neighbour is looking to book for biweekly cleaning. Was hesitant as the previous price I was quoted was $30 an hour, but in hindsight the security of hiring a bonded and insured company with a great reputation (and an awesome Frank) were worth every penny.
