Shack Shine North Houston is a HORRIBLE company to work for. I worked with this company for 10 months. Even when I was the only worker they had. Just to be passed up by someone with less experience an then hear a bogus excuse from the owners when I spoke up. lan Shirley is a con artist. He promised me a lot of things and never went through with anything. Remind you I was the second person they hired and even worked by myself for weeks at a time because they couldn’t keep any employees. Everyone that works with these guys quit after a month or two. Unsafe work environment. They will make you get on top of houses that are at least 3 or 4 stories high with out a harness. That is against OSHA regulations. We had our Christmas Lights installed today. We paid over 1600$ which included lights and installation. When I went to pay the machine was set for a tip. Why would I tip after paying 600$ for the installation? So unprofessional as it puts the client in an awkward situation. I made an appointment to have my exterior windows cleaned using their online system. Received a confirmation email and then a reminder prior to my appointment. An hour after what was supposed to be my appointment time I received a call saying they were busy/behind and would be there that afternoon. The day came to an end with no follow up. I called to have my appointment cancelled and will be going with another company in the Durham Region.
