What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Good composition, understanding the light and knowing the objective of the shoot. I actually teach this topic to photographers in the city. Where I cover seven elements of making a great photo.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Planning for the shoot and understanding what the clint's objective is key for a successful shoot.
Common questions therefore will be, what is your objective from this shoot? Do you have a style of photos in mind? Where will you be posting those photos (if applicable)? How long do you need me for the shoot? How many final images?
What do you love most about your job?
I love interacting with people, and helping them get great images. My greatest satisfaction is when I see my photos on websites, magazines or on social media with many compliments on the quality of the photos.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started with few photography studios in Montreal back in the 80s. This morphed to freelance work because people were asking me to take photos on many assignments.
Why should our clients choose you?
Photography is an art after all, every individual will crate a different image based on their experience and knowledge of photography and art. I have many years of experience in the field. I am always looking for ways to improve and learn new techniques. I am constantly studying art to add to my knowledge and improve my photography. On the technical side, I keep reinvesting in new cameras and lighting equipment to stay current with the latest technology.

No, I cant. Photoshoot have to be in person. My clients can send me their products via courier and I do the shoot in my studio.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have followed all the public safety rules from day one. I will be happy to use masks and keep social distancing during a photoshoot.
