I had Christen quote on a new shade garden in March. It was a bit above my budget but I like her and her suggestions.
The work was completed on Saturday and I'm disappointed. The area of the new garden was beaten down when we replaced our fence last year and was mixed of clay, stone and dirt.
They did not dig out a new garden but surfaced removed the grass and planted the plants without turning over the earth or adding any new soil. The size of plants were small in comparison to what I could have bought locally.
As well, the garden boarder installed is not straight.
After planting they added mulch but ran out of the same colour and added a different colour for a portion of the garden.
I found Red Fox lacking in communication as I had to do the follow ups after paying my deposit.

Christen is amazing! She came to look at the garden spaces and arrived prepared with so many great ideas. We are planning a backyard wedding and she has created a plan that involves making the space beautiful for the wedding as well as sustainable longterm for a natural, but carefully thought out garden.
She even thought of ways to give some old planters and an old table that we had a refresh!

I started Red Fox Forestry during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was unsatisfied with the gardening options available to the average homeowner and wanted to provide reliable and eco-friendly services.

Small tree removal
Red Fox Forestry offers small tree removal and cleanup services starting at $200.
Arborist reports
Arborist reports can be needed if you require a permit for a tree to be removed on your property. Christen, the owner of Red Fox Forestry, is an arborist certified by the International Society of Arboriculture who can complete arborist reports for submission to your local municipality for approval. Reports start at $200.

DIY Garden Kits
Red Fox Forestry provides a variety of plant kits for you to start your own garden. They are suited to different lighting conditions and contain plants that are native to Ontario. This means that when planted in the correct conditions, these plants are likely to be very successful. Kits start at $70.
