Fun. Relaxed. Beautiful. These are some words I would use to describe our experience having a shoot done with Kelly from Potent Photography. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Good lighting, composition, and equipment. Next its the ability to recognize and predict where you need to be to capture that special moment. Posing can really help as well but I love authentic photos so I try to minimize posing unless the client requests it. I find if you over pose with clients who are not models they get awkward, so I try to keep it relaxed and meaningful.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What type of photoshoot are you looking for and what is your timeline? Is their a style of image that you are trying to achieve with this photoshoot?
What do you love most about your job?
Working with people and getting the most amazing shots. I love traveling and capturing an image with a story behind it. Its also great to use the creative side of my brain as no two photoshoots are alike.
Why should our clients choose you?
We'll they get fantastic photos, a great experience all for a reasonable price. I'll work with them to make sure their needs are met.
For weddings I do a pre-event consultation to make sure I understand their needs.

Photoshoots need to be done in person but I can travel to you, book a studio, or meet outside.

Engagement Photos
Engagement photo session 1-3 hours.
Wedding Photos
Wedding photography could include getting ready, wedding ceremony, family, and reception photos.
Event Photography
Includes birthdays, anniversary’s, and corporate events.
Boudoir Photos
Classy and sexy sessions for clients with private albums. Cost effective options available where model comes with their own outfits and takes care of their own hair and makeup.
