Kevin, of Pooch Walk Calgary NW has been our dog walker and pet sitter for 5 years, and we are thrilled with the service he provides. Our 8 year old labradoodle Barley loves his time with Kevin and the canine crew, returning from his walks happy and relaxed. Kevin is well organized, dependable and trustworthy, and is a natural with his dogs, paying individual attention to them all with a great deal of confidence and humor. I can plan vacations with no worries about Barley's wellbeing, knowing that he is well taken care of chez Kevin. I highly recommend Pooch Walk for your beloved pooches. More...

Our family LOVES Kevin and the Pooch Walk, especially our dog, Wrigley. Kevin has been an integral part of Wrigley’s fitness routine for the last 3 years helping Wrigley have fun, socialize with other dogs, and exercise. Wrigley has also had many sleepovers at Kevin’s house (while his humans go on vacation) and settles in like one of the family. As Wrigley was tramuatized as a pup, he takes a while to bond to other people, but he loved Kevin right away. Lets call Kevin the “dog whisperer”. We appreciate Kevin because he is punctual, reliable and accommodating. He always tells us how Wrigley’s walks/sleepovers are going (often with photos!), or if anything seems out of sorts such as a mushy poo, or if he had a particularly good run for the day. Kevin is very communicative and genuinely cares about his dogs (even checking in on Wrigley after a surgery or health event). Kevin is always sure to dry the dog off after a sloppy, wet run and provide fresh water in his bowl upon returning home. Kevin has been our dog walker and sometimes house sitter for 5+ years. I ran into him in an off-leash park in 2013 and thankfully had the presence of mind to ask him for a business card. Shortly after that my wife and I hired him and have been very satisfied with the services he provides (and he's also a very friendly and personable chap). I note that our dog is always very happy to see him and comes back from her walks with a big smile on her face. We used to have two dogs; one passed away earlier this year. Kevin was very caring and attentive to the needs of our older rescue dog . I was very confident that Kevin was making sure the old guy was happy and exercised appropriately for his age. Kevin has been helping us with petsitting and walks since 2016. We originally had two dogs -- a high energy young lab mix who needed off-leash time and consistent training and an older golden mix who needed medication 2x/day. Kevin would take them for walks as well as keep them for overnights. We have been extremely happy with his services. He is very professional and has insurance coverage and background checks. I originally met him at the off-leash dog park and was so impressed with how he managed the pack of dogs. He wouldn't raise his voice --the dogs just responded to him! He really helped us work with our younger dog who had a LOT of energy and was challenging to train (not super food motivated). He has excellent communication skills and is easy to work with when planning walks and overnights. He is always on time. He sends pictures and updates on our sweet pup when he is watching her (which we really appreciate!) It is incredibly important to have someone trustworthy to care for our pets and we highly recommend Kevin with Poochwalk Calgary. More...

Kevin started walking my golden retriever in 2015 to help socialize her with other dogs. Kevin achieved the socialization and continues to walk Sophie 2 times a week. These walks have helped Sophie to become a content dog. I appreciate the his text messages when the walks are done, his punctuality and concern for her well-being. He helped when Sophie developed a bad habit last winter and was generally concerned with the behaviour. Sophie knows the sound of his van and is always waiting at the door. I have used Pooch Walk since my dog was a puppy – 5 years ago and my daughter’s dog before that. Pooch Walk is extremely reliable, consistent and always provides an update about the walk, often with pictures. Kevin is very experienced and able to support my nervous dog by keeping him from overstimulating situations where he will react. My dog looks forward to his walks and has become more settled in his interactions. Kevin is always very supportive and accommodating, putting on my small dog’s winter/rain coats and wiping feet when they are wet. Kevin has walked my chocolate lab for a couple summers now when I've been away. We ran into him in the dog park the other day and my dog was so excited to see him. He is great with my dog and I trust him to take good care. He sends me updates through text messages that sometimes include pictures which I love to get when I'm away. Kevin has been walking our dog for nearly 3 years now. She is really excited to go on walks and sort of runs around the house in excitement when she sees the poochmobile. Kevin lets himself into the house and we trust him to look after our dog; I also know he takes care of her on her return and makes sure she has water and/or dries her off if she is wet and muddy as well as sends a text to let us know. Our dog also stays with Kevin when we go away and whilst its painful to leave her, we do know she is in great hands, being well looked after and still able to hang with her walk crew. Kevin has been walking and sitting my dog, Kirabo, since she arrived in Canada five years ago. Kira absolutely adores Kevin and can’t wait to go off with him when he comes pick her up. She always returns happy and tired. Kevin always lets me know how the walk went and sometimes even sends pictures of her playing with the other dogs. When Kira stays with Kevin he gives me regular updates on what Kira has been up to and also sends photos of her at his home. I know she is happy there but the pictures are always a pleasure to see just how incredibly relaxed she is while I am away. I am really grateful to have Kevin to help me with Kira. He is always quick to respond to my inquiries and has been really flexible helping me with Kira given that I work odd hours. He is 100% reliable, he does what he says he is going to do! Sometimes I’m able to join Kevin and the pack with Kira. It’s fun to see all the dogs playing together. Kevin is kind and firm with all the dogs and it’s clear they all adore and want to please him. I would definitely recommend Kevin to anyone who needs help with dog walking or sitting. More...

I am so glad that we have Kevin in our lives. He has been walking our pooch for several years now and we trust him implicitly with our dog. Kevin is incredibly punctual, considerate and reliable. As I have been recovering from an injury that has been hugely stressful, having Kevin to walk our dog has been a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Kevin's been great for walking our Sheltie and doing occasional pet sitting. We get updates every time about how she did and there's a journal he leaves also. If there's any changes to plans due to weather, he'll communicate it in advance, which is convenient. He's very considerate when picking the dog up and dropping her off. This includes giving her a good drying after a wet walk to help keep the floors clean. Our dog is always ecstatic when he opens the door, and she has fun every time, based on videos he sends. Our dog champ has been walking with Kevin for over two years. Kevin is the utmost professional with regards to our house, his communication with us and with champ. Kevin is dedicated to making sure champ is safe and healthy and has provided us with recommendations on his behaviour when we weren’t sure what to do. Kevin is always punctual and you can hear in his voice that he truly cares for champ when he picks him up. Champ has such fun on his walk and is tired out for the rest of the day! I highly recommend Pooch Walk Calgary NW for both walking and pet-sitting! Kevin has been walking my 4-year-old lab x, Tucker, for about a year and recently pet-sat him for several days. Tucker enjoys his weekly group walks and always comes home happy and tired. He was also very comfortable staying at Kevin’s home overnight and Kevin is clearly very respectful, caring, and attentive towards the animals under his care. Kevin is amazing with all of our pooches and I would highly recommend him for both walking and house sitting! Over the past 6 years we have truly had a variety of dogs with all kind of personalities and he has been incredible with all of them. From our super energetic husky who is a bit of nightmare to walk to our laid back/lazy mastiff he seems to have a way with all of them and makes sure they equally enjoy their time with him. They seem comfortable at his house with his crew and sometimes even seem a little disappointed to be back at home with us after their stay. They are always so excited to go for walks with him and come home tired and ready to rest. I fully trust him and feel lucky that I don't have to worry about my dogs when I'm on vacation because they have the best care with Kevin. More...

Mr Kevin "PoochWalk" has been our dog walker for close to 4 years, and we can't be happier or more satisfied. We know that our dog is always in good hands and care. Kevin is consistent, reliable, available to reach thru text or phone very easily. He watches the dogs, plans ahead, notices every change in our dog (in bowel habits or demeanour, for example). He is always up-to-date with the bookkeeping and invoicing, and always gives plenty of advance notice for any upcoming holidays or days off, and we appreciate his consistent, reliable, professional care and service. Our dear, sweet, dog beings to get depressed if he hasn't seen his buddy, Kevin, and all the gang, when more than a few days go by. For the first time ever Charlie was happy we were going away for a couple of days, he didn't even say bye to us he was so happy to be going with Kevin. Kevin is by far the best dog walker we've ever had. We're always comfortable and confident with our dog in his care, and know our dog will be tuckered out for the rest of the day after he returns home. Highly recommend Pooch walk!
