Sabrina was an amazing photographer for both the mini shoot and our wedding day. We have an “active” toddler and she knew how to capture amazing shots even with him busy running around. She was easy to communicate with about the wedding day; super straight forward. Also checked in with us before the wedding to see what we wanted out of our photos. She also made great suggestions of what kinds of photos to take that we didn’t think of. Took tones of photos of our guest, family and us. We had so much fun taking photos on our wedding day. Sabrina was so amazing and fantastic! First she did an engagement session with us, and was very accommodating for where we wanted to meet, but then she also captured our small intimate wedding.
We only had about 30 people, but Sabrina made a big effort to memorize names and organize before the wedding so that we could capture all the pictures that we wanted.
She has a great eye for capturing the moment and the pictures turned out so fantastically! Thank you Sabrina!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret for me to taking a great photograph is to capture my clients and families in a candid way. I love to get a few posed shots but I also believe that by providing direction for portraits, some props or activities for little kids really helps to create a fun and stress free session. That in turn, results in great photographs.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What type of photographs would you like? What will they be used for? Do you want to print the photos after or use online? Would you like some video component? These questions are applicable for both child, family, business and portrait sessions.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting and working with clients. I love creating a session where my clients leave and say, "wow, that was a lot more fun than I expected". I enjoy making cookies for my family sessions and providing some fun games. I love creating a beautiful portrait of someone as I can always see the beauty in people I photograph.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Over 12 years ago, I was pregnant with our first son, whom we affectionately referred to as our little “peanut”. That was the origin of Peanut Sprout Photography. Peanut Sprout Photography encompasses the life cycle of a family; from maternity (seeds), having a newborn (peanuts) and finally documenting your children (sprouts) as they grow up. I eventually left my corporate job to pursue photography as my job.

Clients should choose me because I am passionate about taking photographs and I am great at following up and delivering what I promise. I like to go the extra mile and create memorable sessions for my clients. My services need to be done in person. I can pick up or receive products to photograph for businesses but the majority of my work is all done in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I do a lot of photography sessions outside and I ensure that I am aware of keeping space between myself and my clients. I wear a mask as well, especially for any indoor photography sessions and I ensure I have hand sanitizer that I apply in front of my clients before we begin a session.
Branding Business Sessions
Many businesses today need to ensure their photography is up to date and of professional quality to attract their clients. It is important to have lots of photos that properly represent your product, service and yourself! During a branding session with Peanut Sprout Photography I ensure I met your needs by working with you to come up with a plan for what type of photos you would like. I can provide a marketing document for you to fill in to brainstorm regarding your brand colors and what you want to do with your photographs once you receive them. I deliver high resolution images in color and black and white so you can print and use on social media as you like.
