If it hadn't been for yet another Yelp Event, I wouldn't have known about Pazan Gallery!  Previously, Port Credit sorta ended at Mississauga Rd. for me.  Ha ha.It was a true pleasure to meet Marcelo and his wonderful wife, Gloria.  Just some of Marcelo's work is posted in the front of the gallery.  Don't forget to put on those 3D glasses to get a "full" view!  In addition, from time to time, there are a rotation of different artists' work featured as well.It was a humbling experience to pick up paintbrush - I can't remember the last time I did that! - and be able to paint under Marcelo's guidance.  He is a very patient teacher! Most importantly, the entire experience was inspiring to me as the couple both have day jobs, yet have found the time & commitment to be able to further pursue a creative passion.  To any creative person, this is the ULTIMATE goal! Thanks Pazan Gallery! Thanks for our wonderful CM for organizing a CMYE at Pazan. If not I never would have  experience the hospitality of the lovely owners and I wouldn't have know my work of art can look so awesome with a 3D glasses! Marcelo is just so charming and sweet! Just look around the gallery you would see his wonderful work of arts. Full of life and vibrant colours and definitely inspiring! Thanks for the special opportunity for a few yelpers to able to create/draw under Marcelo's guidance: our own piece of 3D painting! He shown us different techniques, giving us suggestions and I just love everyone' s paintings after this little hand on workshop!Of course, you can also purchase the lovely paintings in the gallery or even bring in your own to get it framed!!Drop by Pazan Gallery if you are in the neighborhood! It really worth your while. More...

Echoing the sentiments of the lovely Jennifer K, Marcelo Pazan and his business partner and wife Gloria are truly salt of the earth people - like amazing (I'm beginning to see a trend amongst business owners in Port Credit for the most part). Working full time jobs by day they've opened Pazan Gallery as a booming side project to not only showcase and sell the masterful works of art created by Marcelo himself, but offering custom framing services for all your works of art!We gathered here last night for one of Pazan's rare art instruction classes (i.e. not offered often), and learned how to paint in a unique 3D style, which is enhanced when looking through special 3D glasses! This is Marcelo's specialty, and he is a master of his craft. His gallery is adorned with a mix of his own works of art and those of local artists looking for a place to have their work featured! HUGE props for his support of local artists!Their hours are a minimal so make sure you double check what time they are open until before heading down (Tues, Wed, Thurs evenings + Saturdays).I'm looking forward to the day I move into my own place, as I have several works of art that I am 100% bringing to Pazan to get framed!!! Q&As

The secret to a great photograph is good proportion and colour correction for the final substraight. This means that your image should lead the eye and follow the golden ratio as much as possible and then when ready to deploy or print the photographer must make sure the photo's colour is optimized and calibrated to its final output.

WHO - Who is this for? It's best to know your audience to make sure you are designing for them.
WHERE - Where is the final artwork being placed or printed?
WHEN - When do you need it completed?
WHY - Is this important to frame, print, or restore?

WHAT - What is your budget? I only ask this after I have shown them the best way to achieve their goal and they do not want to invest so much in the piece.

The variety of artworks and clients with their stories is compelling to us but the joy we create by simply restoring, showcasing, or preserving a valued artwork is a great feeling.

I have family in South America that have art businesses and I figured I could do it to. I wanted to work as an artist and work with art.
