On Cue is simply the best. They are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I can have a very busy work schedule at times, and know whenever I need to drop Westley off for daycare, he’s going to come home having had the BEST day. His tail starts wagging as soon as we pull in the lot! Whether you need training, classes, daycare or just some advice, On Cue is the place to go. More...

My daughter and I met Lexi by fate with our dogs on the beach one day. As we starting talking, we found out that she offered dog training and it just so happens we needed training, especially for our Border Collie/Pyrenees mix. I could see how passionate and knowledgeable she was about dogs and their behaviours, as well as having her proper certifications. The rest has been history. 2 of our dogs went through personal training with her for behavioural issues. Our mix had seriously fear aggression which we felt hopeless with. He would bark, lunge and corner any person he didn’t know, which made it difficult to even go on a simple walk. After intense training, we are now able to take him out and he is able to focus on us rather than other people, and even when he meets people now he’s not as scared anymore! It makes his life and ours so much more enjoyable and less stressful. We are so so proud of him!!! We also put both of our dogs in training classes at On Cue- for reactivity (leash walking around other dogs) and engagement. You wouldn’t believe the difference we see in them! Lexi has become a great friend, she’s an amazing dog trainer, along with the other wonderful trainers at On Cue. They are so patient and really help us learn how to train our dogs properly, with positive reinforcement, which is very important for us. I think we’ve made life long friends with the staff at On Cue, and plan to continue to enrol our dogs there for agility, sports and other fun stuff!! If you’re considering training, daycare or sports etc, I promise you won’t find a better establishment for your furbabies! More...

When I brought my dog lightning to his first 1 on 1 training session with Lexie, I was so nervous of what she would say about him. Having hired a previous trainer in the past who convinced me to use the prong collar, my boy became much more reactive not only on leash but to dogs, humans and moving objects! I had become so nervous that I wasn’t comfortable having him greet or play with dogs out of fear of how he would react.. I was so discouraged and was convinced that Lightning was “agressive” and a lost cause. Fast forward to the end of our initial CONSULTATION and he was lying within 2 meters of Lexies dog Lyra and not reacting at all. Lexie not only trained lightning but she trained US as well. As soon as she met him she clarified that he surely was not aggressive and that he simply no longer knew how to approach dogs and had developed a play deficit. Lexie had so much patience with him and her energetic, bubbly personality was just what lightning needed. We were in “Awh”.. literally our jaws dropped watching her work with lightning and having him do things we never thought possible.. and for a dog completely unmotivated by food/treats, she managed to find a treat he loved and had him eager to perform commands just in return for positive praise/reinforcement! Fast forward to today ...lightning has met and played with dozens of dogs over the last few months, is able to attend daycare..has learned what it means to “walk in a heel”, is able to see dogs nearby and not lunge and react, has learned several commands that have become useful in high stress situations and overall our whole family is SO much HAPPIER. I would recommend Lexie and on the oncue team 100x over! More...

Without any hesitation I recommend Lexi, On Cue Training. Lexi helped me with my puppy, Huxley, to become a better behaved, confident and happy dog. I feel that Lexi's knowledge of animal behaviour and her kind/patient personality led us to have an excellent training experience. Huxley was a very reactive pup to children, bikes, scooters and other dogs now with the training we recieved our walks are far more pleasant, yay! I also learned how to calm Huxley when he is overstimulated. There was so much that I learned and I probably have missed some. I just know that I picked Lexi's brain on every thing and she took the time to explain the why and how. She is amazing! More...

I would 100% recommend lexi for all your dog training needs not only does she have amazing patience, dedication and drive for dog training, she also has great people skills and communication so that you understand what is going on aswell. the animals are her number 1 priority, close behind is making sure the people she works with have the tools and knowledge to also care for there pets. lexi has worked with many dogs but the most inspiring is her one dog copper, copper was determined "untrainable" "only stop is the pound" type of dog. lexi took copper in, worked very hard at earning trust with him and eventually got copper to be known as the dog he is now, AMAZING, kind, able to be pet, walked and groomed. If you're going to trust your dog with anyone it should be lexi! More...

The dictionary defines superlative as: of the highest kind, quality, or order, surpassing all else, or others. Supreme. I define it as Lexi Whyte. As an animal trainer, a leader, a human being, and as a friend, Lexi is of the highest kind, quality, and order. Supreme. Never will you meet someone so unrelentingly compassionate, unfailingly helpful, unilaterally reliable, and as truly talented as Lexi. With every fibre of my being i can promise you that allowing Lexi the opportunity to help you with your pet will be one of the greatest you will ever make. More...

I would highly recommend Lexi. She has a natural gift at training and helping dogs and their people. I met Lexi when we where meeting in a group in Calgary awhile ago now. She takes the time to explain and show you so you get it. Now that she is out in Nova Scotia she still helps me when I need it with open arms. You will be very lucky to have her as a trainer.
