I have been a client with Munafco since 2015, the accountant I worked with was Sheny Pirbhai. I initially thought I was in good hands, however, Sheny has proven over and over again that she is not qualified to be an accountant after poorly handling various tax issues she caused with my corporation. Sheny has since then continued to deny any wrongdoing and refuses to take accountability for her actions, and becomes very hostile. Take for example a recent interaction with Sheny where I simply sent her a password to access the e-transfer sent for invoice payment (paid on time I might add) and asked if my e-file had been sent to the CRA and her response was “do you realize there is a strike with the CRA?!” And proceeded to rudely tell me to leave her alone.

The company as a whole is disorganized and keeps poor records. Countless times they have lost documents, failed to follow up through email, and have emailed me other people's tax returns!

I strongly advise everyone to avoid this accounting firm, I never thought I would be treated this way after being a client for nearly 8 years, but enough is enough and I will not be mistreated anymore. Learn from my mistakes and find a better accountant. More...
