I met Amir from Mr. Interlock through a family friend. They typically don’t service the Brantford area but made an exception for our project. There Forman Saad and his crew were wonderful to deal with. From the start, he laid out his plan and provided daily scope validations to share his progress. The project was just completed and we are very happy with the results.
Amir is professional and approachable and always available either by text, telephone or in person for any questions we had. It’s clear that he wants the customer to have a good experience. There was a delay in starting the project because of the weather but he kept us informed.
The crew, Saad and Fadi, were friendly, respectful and courteous and have a strong work ethic. The existing patio had several areas that had sunk and these areas collected water. They rectified these issues by excavating beyond the required depth and added more gravel to make sure there won’t be any problems in the future. We’ve had a lot of rain since then and there is no pooling. The new pavers are lined up perfectly and the cuts are clean and lined up perfectly. It’s obvious that they take pride in their work. It was a relief knowing we didn’t have to worry about the job being done properly. They worked long hours and at the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area.
Our property leading to the backyard is narrow so our neighbor allowed the excavator to go on his property to make it easier to access our yard. Mr. Interlock will make the necessary repairs shortly.
We’re very happy with our new patio and highly recommend Mr. Interlock.

We just had our backyard renovated by Mr. Interlock and we are thrilled with the final results. Amir and Chris have an extremely professional team. The guys working in the backyard were courteous, friendly, and most importantly hard working. I can't emphasize enough the quality of their work ethic. Amir was easy to reach by phone, text or in person. His communication was very clear so that there would be no surprise costs. Chris was always willing to explain the process step by step so that we were really part of the process and understood the reasoning behind the way things were built.We had our backyard redone by Mr. Interlock - a lot of excavation and demo work (so many trips to the dump too), new retaining walls, new fences, waterproofing, and new sod.The workmanship is very neat. These guys do not leave garbage behind, every cut is clean, every stone is lined up properly. We never had to worry about questioning them about positioning or angles, as it was done properly without cutting corners.

Company principal and project manager Amir was fabulous to work with from beginning to end of project.Amir provided good advice on our overall landscape design and stone colour/pattern choices. Work Done:
-New asphalt driveway with stone border and low wall on each side from garage to street.Plus stone border across top by garage doors.
- New stone front steps(bordered) and walkway.
- One large capped stone garden box across front of porch plus a small capped stone box at front and side of main box.
-Repaired a concrete overhang on our porch lip.Then covered this area and our entire porch in a beautiful thick slate stone with mortared joints.
- Filled garden boxes with topsoil and replaced lawn sod where damaged by construction.
- Re-routed garage roof eves trough downspout to a newly constructed French drain in our front lawn.

Amir and Chris’ team did a wonderful job! The job scope included resetting the front driveway interlocking, interlock extension with large garden planters in the backyard and lots of new sod. We live on a busy midtown street and the team was able to mitigate the constant flow of traffic and their large equipment, while also being very respectful to our neighbors. The line of communication with our foreman, Saad and PM Amir was always wide-open and I was also kept up-to-date with project status and any issues that arose. The team was very helpful with other vendors that had to be incorporated (i.e. irrigation install and A/C removal/install). There were no corners cut and all work was done properly (if anything over-engineered, which is great!). Their pricing was fair and although they were not the lowest bid, I am confident they were the best choice for such a large job. Our experience with landscapers was very poor until we got in touch with mr. Interlock. So many companies would say they were coming for a quote. We would clear our schedule and then we would get stood up.
This company was fantastic in this regard. They were punctual for all their meetings. And during the day of work they were there starting the job before we were up.
The quality of their work looks great. They barely took at any breaks and their eye for detail was evident from beginning to finish. They cleaned up very nicely afterwards.

I returned to Mr. Interlock for the second phase of my back yard patio vision and am thrilled by the results and the quality of patio work. I'd like to thank Amir, Chris and their team for all of their hard work in seeing our landscaping project through to completion. We redid our front porch, added interlock to our driveway and also added a walkway to the side of our house. We're very satisfied with the final product and it is exactly what we had envisioned. The workmanship and design are top notch, and everything blends in perfectly with our house. Amir, Chris and the team were friendly, professional and easy to work with. We did experience a few hiccups along the way, but Amir and Chris rose to the occasion and addressed the issues quickly and efficiently, keeping us fully informed at all times. Our water main accidentally ruptured during initial digging, but was quickly resolved (within 6 hours). Some of the design needed to be modified to account for technical details - Amir and Chris were forthright and provided the best options that made the most sense for what we were trying to achieve. I attempted to regrade my patio and walkway from beside my car port to by backyard.I broke the concrete, disposed of it, and hand dug about 3/4 of the way before injuring myself. When I called Mr Interlock. Amir and Chris came and saved the day. They took over and were able to finish it off in under a week by completing the excavation. After the excavation they then back filled with 3/4" gravel. To level it off before laying down pavers they put a layer of crushed limestone before finishing it off with some really nice looking pavers and sealing with polymeric sand.In addition to finishing off the patio they removed the old pavers a dirt from my place giving it a fresh new and great look!Amir, Chris and Tristan totally saved the day as I exposed the footing of my house and couldn't complete it. We used Mr. Interlock to remove a naturally landscaped yard. The project included grading a mounded portion of property and replacing most landscaped areas with sod/seed to create a family friendly yard. We also had Amir and his team create a natural edge mulch bed along our fence, clean up overgrown planting beds and remove some worn stairs to replace with a rock wall. The rock wall was an add on once the project was underway and Amir and his team were able to provide options to keep the additional work cost effect and tied in with the rest of the yard.
