What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
People can wax on about the technical side of photography for days, and while that's part of taking a great photograph, a bigger part is comfort. I do my absolute best to make my clients comfortable in front of the camera. Now it doesn't always work, but if I can take even a little bit of the edge off then I've accomplished my goal.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always want to know what exactly they're looking for.
The length of time that you require my services for, if you're looking for any printed or customized items, what kind of vibe you're looking for.
If there's any need for a location change, or for an outfit change. If you're looking for an on location shoot or in the studio. All of these are important to know, but will also vary depending on the job.
I also like to get to know my clients as people as well. I love learning your stories and what's important to you.
What do you love most about your job?
So I have two things. I love capturing moments. Whether it's the moments of the first kiss or a laugh between friends and family. It doesn't have to be an enormous moment to be important. Each and every moment counts.
I also really love showing people the artistic aspect of photography and that everyone is art and beautiful in their own right.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been a fan of photography. I never really thought of it as a business until more recently, when I've found myself less and less satisfied with office jobs, and wanting to help people in some form. Even if that form is just capturing their memories. I struggle with memories of loved ones that I've lost and I want to make sure that others always have photos or videos to remember their loved ones by.
Why should our clients choose you?
Firstly I want you to really enjoy my work and the style that I shoot. That's what matters above all else, because you really do want to enjoy looking back on the photos and videos.
I like to think of myself as absolutely dedicated to my craft and passionate for it. I love photography and showing people just how beautiful they are and that in their own way, everyone is a piece of art.
I also understand the importance of having memories that don't fade, and I want to make sure every client has their memories captured for the days when they can't recall as clearly.

I can provide photo editing services remotely and online, however the rest requires to be in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During any proper lockdowns I halt my business until things are safe again.
All of my shoots are currently being operated with social distancing and mask requirements.
I will be getting vaccinated once I qualify for the vaccine and will continue with social distancing and masks until things are clearing up more. My clients safety is of the utmost importance.
