We started receiving our pictures THAT night! All of them were uploaded for us in less than 24 hours!! Couldn’t believe it!
He mingled well with the people and kids especially take to him! They don’t shy away from the camera or him as he makes it fun and connects with them. We got some great shots of the kids having a blast!!! Parents were surprised to see how much fun could be captured in that picture. I can’t recommend Mark enough! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A great deal goes into the creation of an excellent photograph. When photographing people the first consideration is understanding the client’s needs and how the images will be used.
The first thing is the setting in which the photos will be taken. The goal is to choose a location appropriate for the mood being created. Once selected other factors come into play. Styling, lighting and lens selection are all critical. Then, attention to detail and clear direction.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The purpose of the shoot and how the images will be used. Are there specific client considerations to take into account?
What do you love most about your job?
Most of my work is event based. Weddings, corporate events, reuinions etc. This requires me to be creative and produce stunning images in a wide variety of locations and under conditions over which I have little control. I call this “creativity on demand.” I love it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Pretty simple. Since a very young age I became passionate about expressing my creativity through my camera. Though my subjects were varied it wasn’t long before I focussed my attention and creativity to photographing people and events.
Fashion and studio photography fascinated me. This is where I developed most of my lighting skills and my approach for directing clients for many years I shot for fashion designers and magazines.
Over time I began to fuse my fashion sense of photography with my growing wedding photography business. The two were a natural fit.
After many years of hard, work and dedication, I am proud to be recognized as a respected leader in photography.

Families
A quality photograph is a wonderful way to capture a moment in time. I offer in studio or (my favorite) on location shoots. I can also suggest candid photography during a family event.
