After a full year of trying to get some quotes from various roofing companies (it's actually very difficult to even get someone to call you back), we finally got a reference for Let It Rain. From the first contact with the company, I was so surprised to actually be talking quickly to someone who organized a visit by their expert within a few days. The gentleman who came to evaluate our project was great, friendly, thorough in his survey of our property and, unlike some of the few other people we had met, he wasn't fazed by any aspect of our project: others had commented on the difficult access, on possible surprise problems once they would take things apart, etc. We got an estimate the very next day, complete with documentation on the products they use, insurance certificates, etc. And the price was just right (we had gotten estimates between 28k and 32K, with the exception of one major outlier at $65,000!). We decided to go with Let It Rain and we have not been disappointed. The whole process was easy and pain-free, from scheduling, planning, setting up, doing the work and cleaning up. Everyone on the team was hardworking, polite, respectful of our home and our neighbours's properties and the project supervisor was always on top of things and answered our questions promptly and in a friendly manner. We recently had our roof re-shingled by Let It Rain. We had used this company on our last home 19 years ago and after getting several comparable estimates (including Let It Rain) we decided to use them again.
We were not disappointed. Bruno, the president of Let It Rain, came out to inspect the roof. The roof on this home was very steep and labour intensive. He took the time to listen to our concerns and advised us on the different options available with no pressure. His office staff was also great and they promptly returned our calls.
The roofing crew that worked on our roof was amazing. Jonas and his crew were respectful, polite, approachable and hardworking. They were considerate of us and our property. Jonas was always available to answer any questions we had.
We would not hesitate to use Let It Rain again and would definitely recommend them. Lou and Mary

A large oak tree in our backyard unexpectedly fell late one night recently causing significant damage to part of our roof making it no longer weather proof. We have been very satisfied customers of Let it Rain for many years so I called them and they immediately rearranged their schedule and had a team at our house virtually the next day to patch the roof. From the estimate we received to the finished job, Let it Rain and its employees have exceeded my husband and I’s expectations. I put on new Eaves and Downspout on home and my neighbor across the street asked me how they did, as they wanted to use your Company. So I told them how pleased I was with all aspects of my involvement with Let it Rain Ltd., from my first contact with respect to sales and estimates to the final one, the manner in which the details were delivered was thorough and complete. I was always kept informed of what to expect. As far as the service of work the men arrived on time and conducted themselves in a polite and professional manner. They took care in addressing all my questions and concerns. They were careful in all aspects of the completion of their work, including the clean up procedure. I previously had Let It Rain fix a leak due to improper flashing around my chimney done by another roofer that replaced my roofing a couple of years previously. When that roof started to deteriorate well before its warranty date, I called Let It Rain to replace it. I was impressed with their roof replacement system they proposed. They came to do the work on a sunny day this March and completed the work and cleaned up all in one day, relieving my previous stress when high winds and rain were forecast. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with this company , our contractor was Raeny Destefano and he is excellent. He kept us up to date every step of the way.
He knew exactly what had to be done and it was completed when he said it would be done. We are very pleased with the work provided by this company.
Everyone who we came in contact with were efficient, prompt, and the clean up after the work was spotless . Would not hesitate to call upon them again . I highly recommend "Let it Rain."

Just returned from our vacation to see the work that Let it Rain did on our Flat roof. It was a complicated job that was brilliantly well done! They are not the cheapest, but definitely the best. I got a number of quotes and decided based upon prior experience and the professionalism of their crew and the quote they wrote up that this was the outfit that I needed to go with.They did an outstanding job of striping all the old crap off the roof (it took three bins!) and created a custom built sloping roof so that the rain would drain properly. Last November, I needed a portion of my roof replaced, so I got quotes from three companies, including, Let it Rain.
Company 1 quoted $1700 (before tax);
Company 2 quoted $1500 (before tax); and Let it Rain quoted the following:
SubTotal: $2900; HST: $377; Total: $2277;I had assumed that because the other quotes were below $1900, that the total must be correct, that they were giving me a $1k discount.Even still $1900 (before tax) was above the other quotes, and so I called the other two - but both said they were too busy to do it in the given time frame; However, let it rain said they could do it within 2 weeks. I called their office to ask them to proceed, and they charged me a 20% deposit of $455.4 confirming a total of $2277. A couple of days after the work was completed, they called me to say that they had made a mistake on the quote and that I owed them $2847.6. When I pointed out the total on the contract, they said I should have known it was a mistake and tried to bully me into paying the extra amount, even a few days later threatening to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay the extra amount within a week. It became a stressful, and rather than taking them to court, I decided to close it by paying the $2847.6, but the experience was extremely unpleasant. Update - May 2017It concerns me that they don't care that they even made the mistake. Never once did they apologize for their "mistake" and all the trouble it caused. Clearly, blame customers is their attitude.

My husband was a roofer for years but he's old now and can't go up on any ladders. A friend of his used let it rain a few years ago and always told us to call them when ever we would complain about a leak or the temperatures being so different all over our house. We got 3 quotes and let it rain was the last one. We chose let it rain because they had the most knowledge and they have credentials that are backed up by the shingle manufacturer. My husband really liked that. Well I'm so happy we did because we are already saving money on our energy cost and I don't have to keep getting my grand kids to fix the drywall and paint anymore... Its the safest choice. If anything goes wrong let it rain will come back and fix it and they have been around for years. A guy my husband worked with 25 years ago used them and he remembers him bragging about his new roof at work.. They are reliable even if there are hiccups the owner is a stand up guy and I would recommend this company. More...

If I'm taking the time to write a review, it's either I was extremely happy or tremendously disappointed. In this case, it is a very positive review.
Years ago, when I needed a new roof, I called a few companies for estimates; money was tight at the time but I had to face the fact that my house needed a new roof. Let it Rain sent a guy to my house to do an estimation. The estimator person was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions; he took the time to explain why I needed a certain shingle instead of another one. He actually had some samples and gave me clear explanations. I was a bit surprised when I got the estimate; although it was not the most expensive one, the price was a bit higher than I expected. Although the sales person has earned my respect, I still had some concerns; I wanted to know why I should go with Let it Rain instead of a cheaper company. So I decided to call the owner directly and spoke to Bruno. I wanted to make sure the sales guy did not make a mistake and charged me for things I didn’t need. Bruno was very honest with me; he said that not only I would have a roof done by professionals, Let it Rain will be there when I need them. Yes, you pay more at first, but in the long run, you can count on us!
At the time I was unsure; however, I felt the honesty in his voice; he finally convinced me. Bruno was very friendly and exuded confidence. I had Let it Rain do my roof.
The process was easy; calling the office was so refreshing. The staff was very polite and made me feel significant. The whole experience went very smooth. I never had a problem after that; they did a fantastic job… neighbors were even commenting on how nice my roof was; it really improved the look of my house. Never had a leak after that. They did a wonderful job!A little while ago, I had an issue with my chimney and needed a repair on my roof. It has been so long that I thought I would not find that special roofing company again. I looked to my paperwork and found the estimate. Let it Rain had moved yes, but when I called, I couldn’t believe Bruno was still there. I spoke to him and he told me not to worry; he would send one of his guys promptly. The repair man was here in no time, I was so impressed. It was such an easy process that the stress of the situation disappeared; I barely had to explain what the problem was; they knew right away. All that to say that, after all this time, Let it Rain is still here! PS… Of all the other estimates I had (I kept the paperwork), none of the companies exists today… that means something.Thank you Let it Rain for your fantastic service! I'm giving you a verbal award of excellence!
