We can not rate Legendary Landscaping highly enough!!They exceeded all of our expectations and kept every promise that they made regarding start date, finish date, pricing, materials, etc. etc. etc.We first heard about Legendary Landscaping from neighbours who had used them and were happy. We saw the results of their work and liked it ourselves. When we wanted to finish the yard around our home, we included Legendary Landscaping in the small list of companies we talked with and compared.Ryan was very careful to listen to all of our ideas and note every detail that was important to us. He then came back with his ideas and suggestions, giving us options and explaining the pros cons of each. Things that we had never thought of but that he had seen in his experience were considered and ultimately merged in the plan. He was able to custom tailor the individual features and landscape items we had in our plan with a choice of materials that gave us amazing flexibility to get just what we wanted.A schedule was set for the work and don't you know, the crew showed up early on the expected morning ready to work even though we were having a late spring snow. They were on time every single day and they did everything you could ask of a crew. They worked hard all through the day and cleaned up at the end of each day before going home for the evening.When the inevitable questions came up during the construction phase, they were sorted out quickly and work continued smoothly. Choices of stone type for different items were discussed well in advance, we were even able to join Ryan at the stone yard and nursery to personally select the items we liked best. Rather than having a stranger come in and do our back yard according to our instructions, it was as if good friends who were expert in the work were doing it for us and they cared if we were happy. It felt wonderful.Doing our yard required that we take down a side fence in order to get at things. As Ryan / Amanda and team were doing their work, we had neighbours stopping by every day to watch the progress and comment on how great it all looked. Seeing it first hand was impressive enough that a number of families in the neighbourhood have gone on to use Legendary Landscaping for their own homes. If you have a landscaping project and you want help from good people who do great work, who have years of experience in stone work and yard construction, at a reasonable and fair price for the quality of workmanship and materials then you owe it to yourself to call Legendary Landscaping and hear what they have to say. Ryan and Amanda worked on a fire pit for my backyard and helped me choose the perfect stone and were knowledgeable and made sure that my fire pit had drainage and fire brick inside so that the pit should last for many many years and never move or break or need maintenance. They brushed it with sealer that will keep the wonderful colours of the stone from day one. We love it and get compliments from our neighbours and friends. Great job guys! Truly a Legendary job! After which, they expertly executed the plan and created the back yard of my dreams. I enjoyed going to the tree farm with Ryan to hand-pick the larger trees. Ryan and Amanda took what was a big gaping hole in my backyard and turned it into an outdoor retreat. I enjoy the sound the waterfall makes~ thanks to the meticulous placement of each and every stone.
The definition of good service is what the contractor does should something go wrong. True to their warranty when the pump refused to start the following spring, Legendary replaced it with a better model at no additional cost to me. I have had no trouble since.

We had Ryan add extra trees for a privacy screen to the back garden. After consulting, his expert recommendation was to also add colour variety by using some dark leaf specimens against a sunburst locust which gave a visual interest as well. Well done.

I first met Ryan and Amanda several years ago. Their work ethic and creativity impressed me so that I was confident in referring their expertise when my son required some exterior work done on his premises.
When I moved again, there was no doubt who would do my exterior work. Confident in their stone selection and design for the task at hand, I have not been disappointed. They transformed an existing frontage consisting of stone cement slabs to a beautiful elegant exterior.In addition, they stand by their work and achieve client satisfaction.

Ryan & Amanda were fantastic with our project. The project was initially started by another contractor who forecasted a 3 week completion. After 12 weeks I had to terminate them. Ryan & Amanda had to redo almost the entire project due to deficiencis in workmanship and virtually started from scratch. When we were selling our home in the Newmarket area, we had Ryan and Amanda come in to look at our front yard that needed to fixed up in a completely unreasonable amount of time.
They took my plain and simple ideas and made my house look inviting and finally beautiful, within the needed time fame and within budget! They even found a way to save my husband and his mess of a DIY patio in the backyard.
Our 2nd house we had a completely untouch backyard with a tendancy to flood, leaving water pooling right at our backdoor. Ryan and Amanda created an amazing area for entertaining and relaxing and they also completely fixed all the water problems. The extra bonus of Legendary landscaping fantasic final product is that Amanda, Ryan and their team are a complete pleasure to have around. Renovations inside or out can be stressful, but not with this company around! I will recommend and hire them again without a second thought.

Ryan and Amanda saved us !! We needed to expand on old interlocking brick by our pool to support a gazebo which had a fixed iinstallation date. From the outset I was impressed by how quickly Ryan responded to my "cold call" and immediately followed it up with a site visit. Amanda and Ryan are both extremely skilled and meticulous in the quality of their work. Not only did they complete the requested undertaking, they also corrected a number of areas in the pre existing brickwork working through tree roots and concrete to level these danger spots. Ryan and Amanda were recommended to us to do the landscaping for our new home on Lake Simcoe two years ago. We couldn't be happier with the results. They completed the work in a timely fashion and, as a bonus, they and their crew were friendly, helpful, accommodating and 100% professional. We were so pleased that we had them back to do another smaller project last spring. Timing was everything, as all the work had to be done in time for our daughter's wedding in June.
