Laurence is a Vancouver professional photographer, cinematographer, and director, serving clients across Metro Vancouver region and British Columbia.
Laurence came to Vancouver in 1993, he grew up and later studied in Canada. In between 2002 to 2012 Laurence went to the United States and Asia, while there he pursued a professional career in hedge fund and investment banking for almost ten years.
While in US and Asia, Laurence had an opportunity to work with some of the largest Hollywood producers and movie production companies. After returning to Vancouver, Laurence decided to focus most of his spare time on photography and cinematography.
As a professional photographer with 10 years of extraordinary experience, some of the photography services Laurence provide includes portrait and corporate headshots, wedding, product, real estate, and fine dining photography. In addition, as a professional cinematographer and director, Laurence provide professional videography services such as for wedding, real estate, and product, as well as produce video for commercial advertisement.
At work, Laurence aims to create a relaxing and comfortable experience and workflow for clients who choose to work with him. During spare time, Laurence also enjoys experimenting different forms of photography including large format cameras, such as shooting 4x5 on negative films.

For camera, currently Laurence is using the 2021 newly released Fujifilm GFX 100s for most of the photography work he do. The Fujifilm GFX 100s is a camera with 102 megapixels and a medium format sensor. The resolution and color science of Fujifilm GFX 100s is absolutely amazing and beautiful. For professional video production, currently Laurence is using a RED camera from RED Digital Cinema, which will give the video a classic Hollywood look.
