We had a wonderful dinner here. Tanya was fantastic and really made the dinner enjoyable. They have a really good gluten free menu, and the pasta dishes & lasagnas we ordered were excellent. My only complaint was on the mista salad. No where in the description did it list lettuce, yet the salad was 90% lettuce with only a few tomatoes & cucumbers scattered in. I don't mind the lettuce, but at least keep the description accurate and list it! I would have ordered something else if I had known. Anyway, great place for a relaxed, yet classy Italian vibe. Absolutely delicious. Great selection of gluten free options... I loved that I was offered a gluten free menu right away. Our server Pascal was very well educated about celiacs . My husband and I both ordered gluten free so we tried the manicotti and La Dolce Vita pizza (both were amazing). We also tried the tiramisu (fantastic!!!) and the chef came to check how our meal was. SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS & SAFE! I found this restaurant via the Find Me GF app, which gives suggestions and reviews of gluten free establishments. They had by far the most positive reviews. There is an entire front and back GF menu with at least 40 choices if not more. It was awesome to look at a menu and not feel like I had to stick with a salad no croutons. At one point, the head chef came out to see how everything was. My brother mentioned that I am GF, and the chef started talking about how when he took over the restaurant, he made sure to educate himself on celiac and gluten free and how to offer the most options and to avoid cross contamination and how he didn’t think it was fair that other places upcharge the GF items which it’s not our “fault” that we need them (with the exception of the pizza crust, which he gets from the outside & needs to charge a little extra) and then he thanked ME for bringing my friends in to a place I felt safe to eat. Totally impressed with this restaurant and their head chef, as well as all of their staff. I got the stuffed mushrooms which were INSANELY good, GF garlic bread and the chicken/mushroom penne pasta dinner. It was such a relief to have so many choices. More...

Its nice to go into a restaurant and be offered a gluten free menu right away instead of having to ask. On our multiple visits the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes, the way it should be. On top of that even with a fully filled restaurant service didn't seem to suffer, even with our party of 6 and other equivalent size parties dinning at the same time.Their gluten free options are amazing and the pasta dishes I've tried so far were very delicious and prepared perfectly. The pizza I tried was very good and easily my second favorite GF pizza in the city (it was my first until I found another :) ). Their stuffed mushrooms are so yummy that I'm always tempted to order multiple and make it my meal, and a must have to finish of any meal here is their GF tiramisu. I always want more than one, but with all the other delicious food their is barely enough room for the one.Looking forward to our next visit. More...

I absolutely LOVE La Dolce Vita! As a Celiac, it is amazing to find a restaurant that I can eat, feel comfortable at, and on top of all of it, have TONS of outstanding options. I truly felt the love and passion that went into my meal, and it was incredibly special that not only did the waitress come to check on me, the owner/head chef did as well. The freshly baked bread is I think my favourite thing as well as the Cesar salad which features double smoked bacon and croutons made from house made fresh bread. Just so good! My husband and I recently went to La Dolce Vita for date night. We arrived shortly before 5 (when it opens) and was welcomed graciously into the restaurant. We were pleased that the owner asked if we needed the gluten free menu which was a very nice change of pace since most restaurants we go to we have to ask for a gluten "friendly" menu. We had the stuffed mushrooms, chicken parmesan and manicotti and every single thing was made well, tasted great and hot. My husband had the gluten free Tiramisu for dessert. That too was delicious. As we neared the end of our meal the chef came out to check on things, I really appreciate that level of service. We will be returning soon. More...

As a celiac, we all know how traumatic it can be eating out. This restaurant was recommended by other celiacs and after looking at their GF menu online, I called to confirm I could actually have garlic bread etc. Upon arrival our server asked if either of us were celiac and offered the GF menu. I had the chicken Parmesan, garlic bread and creme brûlée. Food was awesome and at the end of our meal the chef came out to speak to us to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and to reiterate that all my food was GF. Would absolutely go back! More...

Went to La Dolce Vita this evening! It was amazing and so was the service. The owner and chef came to see if we were celiac because we ordered from their amazing gluten free menu! He wanted to know how I liked it and wanted to also tell me about their GF dessert menu. They have cheesecake and make their own tiramisu from scratch! They also do not charge extra for anything gluten free and are aware that a lot of other places do but wants us as Celiacs or gluten free to feel normal � highly recommend!!!! More...

As a person with Celiac disease I'm used to eating simple somewhat bland meals at restaurants, and forget dessert unless your fine with some fresh fruit or a sorbet. I had one of my most amazing meals last night. Dinner started with fried calamari then a ceaser salad with croutons! Main course lasagna with garlic bread and to finish it of an amazing tiramisu! I thought I was in heaven. The owner and chef came out to speak to me and reassure me everything was gluten free and they take all necessary precautions to avoid cross contamination. This is a great little Italian restaurant for an intimate data (i.e. Valentine's Day, anniversary). The home made pasta and pizza dishes are of an extremely high quality.
