As a religious user of lash extensions, I can now say I've been converted to lifts! Rachel is a total sweetheart, after talking to her for 5 minutes I felt like we've been friends for years. She's incredibly professional and knowledgeable... I got the brow wax/ tint + lash lift/ tint package, and she really took the time to explain the whole procedure to me. She went over each step and process in detail, and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I'm obsessed with my brows, and even though I'm used to a more dramatic lash look with extensions, I love the natural pop that the lift gave me. She recommended a serum as well that I'll definitely be adding to my next appointment. Got my first (keratin) lash lift and tint today and couldn't be more pleased! Rachel is such a delight--very welcoming, super friendly, super talented, and very knowledgeable. She did an amazing job on my lashes and I would 100% recommend Kalon. She answered all of my questions and gave me all the info I needed on what I can and can't do with the lash lift (you can pretty much do everything). And all the other questions I had including the difference between the keratin lash lift and the regular one. The whole process was very smooth. I was a little bit late to my appointment and she was so understanding! Her home salon is perfect--the bed is very comfortable, and the space is relaxing and clean. She also accepts all forms of payment despite being a home salon. Very convenient!!! It also really helped to get the 20% check in discount from Yelp!I should also mention that her online/technology presence is remarkable. So convenient to see photos of her previous work, book online, and receive a receipt through email. The area the salon is located is also a wonderful area located nearby a lot of boutiques and parks. It is also very accessible by public transit (Queen Streetcar).As for the lash lift itself, they look great. I have pin straight stubborn asian lashes and this lifted them right up! My lashes went from not visible to so beautiful!!! Now I'll have to see how long they will actually last (typically 6-8 weeks). I didn't notice the tint too much since my lashes are already black, but I'm sure it would show beautifully on lighter coloured lashes. P.S. She also has a referral program so if you do end up checking her out you can mention my name and get $5 off :)I will definitely be back to try the regular lash lift. Rachel, the owner, is the most delightful and talented person you will ever meet. She has been beautifying my eyelashes and skin for over a year!  She is very accommodating to schedules and has even squeezed me in for last minute "emergency" appointments (much appreciated!). I was very self conscious about my brows before coming to Rachel. I have thick brows but sparse in areas as I pick them :(. She made them beautiful again. She is the best, hands down...I would never go to anyone else because that would be cheating on my brow Queen! She is sweet, understanding, so down to earth and amazing at what she does.
