Swell, my 1 year old pitbull puppy just spent the last week at k9 Goodlife on a Board & Train & she had a blast! It was such a reassurance knowing my pup is in good hands with Sarah. Not only she was having the time of her life playing with other dogs, she was also being supervised closely and given the right feedback while playing. The environment is positive and well under control since there are a limited number of dogs at the same time. I feel Sarah really connected with Swell & cared about her. I highly recommend k9 Goodlife! Oh and the pics posted on facebook about your pup's activities are a real treat!! More...

I will never forget my first class with Sara and Dane (yes mine because I quickly learned it was me who really needed the most training)
The first question they asked in this beginner 'Street Smart' Class was, "What value do you have for your dog?" There were a lot of perplexed faces as we looked at each other and thought Huh? Are you mare valuable to your dog than food? another dog? a ball?
I came to understand that the ultimate goal was to have your dog value you most, and that it takes love, patience, consistency (mine not the dogs), positive reinforcement, and practice, practice, practice!
Truly the most beneficial training I could have asked for, to say nothing of the true caring and support K9 Goodlife offers.
I can't recommend this training enough! Made me see my dog, their needs and my role in their life in a whole new light!

Sara and Dane are awesome trainers with extensive experience . Panda has taken obedience and agility classes with them since she was a puppy and the new outdoor pack walks have been super fun! ! We have learnt so much and now that the summer is here they are offering outdoor agility too!!! It's so important to have a well-behaved and happy dog, Sara and Dane make everything fun and exciting and the skills we have learned have been so important in Panda's development. Have done beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with Sara and Dane and was super happy with them and the progress with my pup! Also did a private lesson with them-- having two trainers working with you is a really nice dynamic as they both pick up on things so nothing gets by them in terms of dog behaviour. Sara and Dane are the best trainers I've worked with. Their equal parts of knowledge on the programs they teach and dogs they work with are matched only by their love for the animals they help. I've run two dogs through classes with these two....and the results have been amazing!I've seen big changes in the dogs' behavior, and their classes have also provided me with the tools and training to be a better dog owner. I will continue to take them to K9 Goodlife classes and would recommend them to anyone who would like a healthier, happier dog! More...

Hi we have a year old Akita and Sara and Dane have helped us to train and and socialize him with great success.He has done the puppy and beginners and is continuing on to the scent course.
Sara and Dane love what they do and it shows as all the dogs adore them. I highly recommend bringing your dogs to them from beginners to any behaviors!

Sara and Dane are fantastic trainers! I have been going to the agility classes as well as doing some private training with them and their pack with my crazy border collie cross! ! Hank's confidence has grown so much, he loves agility and is doing so much better around other dogs, (which has been a lot of work but they have helped me work though this and supported me so much!) The classes are always so much fun and Hank loves them both and can't wait to see them when he gets to class!! My wife and I would like to highly recommend Dane & Sara to anyone; we'd rate their service and help they gave us with - 5 STARS!
From the get-go, our 11 month old Lab/Husky cross, Solo, has proved a challenge to us acting more so like an 80/lb monkey who'd previously had a penchant for leaping, pulling sled-dog hard on the leash, coming (recall) if and when he felt like it, and wouldn't 'stay' for more than a few seconds. Solo is a rescue dog from the SPCA and we were fortunate to adopt him at only 10 wks.
Thanks to Dane & Sara's innate and intuitive understanding of a dog's psyche and their great - often times comical - ability to communicate how dogs really 'think', after only a few short lessons we are now well on our way to addressing Solo's behavioral issues with the tools they have given us.
Of particular help to us was Dane & Sara's 'tell-it-like-is' and no BS style of letting us know just how off-base we were about previous training techniques we were totally unsuccessful with.
I'll never forget how Sara explained it to me when I told her about the recall issues we were having with him as he would often take-off after other dogs, or, people with reckless abandon - oblivious to our calls.
She told me that we had to give Solo a good reason and incentive to get excited about coming to us when we called him. She then matter-of-factually explained to me - gesturing with her arms, one held way up high, the other down low - "Terry, in the realm of things that get Solo excited in his world right now, a squirrel is way up here and you are way down there. We have to change that."
I would unequivocally recommend the services of this great young couple to anyone.

Noble and I have been attending Sara and Danes "Street Smart" classes for the last few weeks. The purpose of this class is to teach your dog to focus and make their own choice to choose their handler over any other distractions.
This past week, I had a lady laugh at me (and Noble), as she said it "looked like Noble looked at me and asked for my permission after he glanced at her dog". THIS is exactly the purpose of this class and I couldn't be prouder of him! To have this recognized by a stranger in a 15 second encounter was so rewarding for myself and Noble.
I have Sara and Dane to thank for this accomplishment, as this wouldn't have been possible without their expert guidance.
I cannot recommend K9Goodlife and the Street Smart course enough.

Through love and direction they not only train your pet , provide Day Care , Rehabilitation services, and socialize your 4 legged child ;
they provide direction to the owners. Bonsai has gone from zero socialization skills due to being attacked by other dogs to being fully immersed into Sara's and Dane's pack as well as with other dogs . Sara's and Dane's love of dogs plus their experience make them the perfect fit as trainers. They may look young but they are experienced !!!! Bonsai just spent a week with them as I had to be out of town She was perfectly happy for the week No stress Just direction love and fun Happy to be at home but ready to go back any time If nothing else take your dog to "Street Wise" training You will be amazed at what they learn and how quickly they do it

I can't thank these guys enough. From the obedience training to the search and rescue tracking and the doggy daycare You have made Freyja a very happy girl!
