It was time to freshen up our main level flooring and kitchen. Ideal Home Design was recommended to us by another vendor in town and we were not disappointed. Ideal's staff are friendly and welcoming. Annette took the time to show us several options based on our thoughts and then showed us a few more options we had not considered. Ideal Home Design Inc. helped us redesign our 30 year old house. The most challenging part for us was design of our kitchen. With Raf's and Annette's help, our kitchen went complete transformation and is now one of the favourite places in the house. Their experience and expertise came in handy on multiple occasions. They would help us narrow down choices to 2-3 and help us decide. Renovations can be overwhelming; having someone guide you is extremely important. We recently hired this fantastic team to renovate our main washroom. 2 years ago we hired them to renovate our master bedroom washroom.
We were thrilled with the outcomes both times!
We needed to renovate our main washroom due to a plumbing issue. Rafal very quickly isolated the issue and fixed it appropriately.
Annette is very creative . She always listens to what the customer wants and is able to come up with interesting and tasteful ideas.
A contract will be drawn out prior to the start of the job. It is very detailed and lists all the details and costs. In the end there are no surprises. They will not be the least expensive contractor on the outset but you get what you pay for !
A great team that takes pride in their attention to detail and are definitely perfectionist.

In the spring of 2018 Ideal Home Design completed an entire main floor renovation at our home, which included walls coming down, all new flooring, a completely open concept kitchen, renovated bathroom and laundry room, and a fireplace facelift.
Annette provided an ideal amount of expertise during the planning and design process. She offered many suggestions about how to improve style elements as well as where we could save some money, all while keeping our "wish list" and budget in mind.
The renovation took nine weeks to complete, which was only one week longer than estimated. The only reason for that one week difference was due to unforeseen fixes that were required in order to level our subfloor and ensure the outcome of their work was of the highest quality. The team of contractors worked every day, used their skill and knowledge to overcome many hurdles that they encountered in our 40 year old home, and always made sure quality was their top priority. They even went above and beyond to replace plumbing, electrical & HVAC where it was needed and suggest other improvements we may appreciate in our renovated home (at no additional costs). We could always contact them without an issue and they were always responsive. The final completion was also painless as they worked with us to complete all of the finishing touches quickly until we were completely satisfied.
Ideal Home Design took care of the entire project from beginning to end, including all trades and inspections/permits. We are so happy with the work they did. It is beautiful, functional and of the highest quality. I will continue recommending them to friends and will call them to assist with other projects down the road!!
