We had high hopes for this company based on the phone conversations before booking an appointment. We were supposed to have a meeting today on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 1 pm, but no one showed up. We rearranged our Saturday schedule to take their first appointment for the day. We received a text message suggesting to come at 2 pm after the appointment time. We waited the whole part of the early day to allow this company to come and provide us with a quote. Customer courtesy is a sign of essential to being a professional. We called a few times, left a message, and replied by text, but we have not heard anything. Unfortunately, this was very unprofessional. I would recommend in the future to call your customer and make alternate arrangements if you know you won’t be available. Hi there Chika, Once again I do sincerely apologize for our missed appointment. Just updating to your review. Chika your appointment was in fact second of the day. Our first appointment was a roof repair in the pouring rain, your fence appointment was in fact also our last appointment of the day as we generally split our days to accommodate appointments while progressing on going projects, as our experts are needed to oversee and lead our crews. Our morning repair turned out to be much bigger than anticipated. These things happen in our trade. Unfortunately while I was on this customers roof I had sent a text message. Followed by an unfortunate mishap, my phone fell 2 storeys off the roof. Between the time I had sent you a message asking if a 30 minute delay was alright and my phone's tragic end, I had not received a response. At this point I no longer hand your number on hand or address and could not contact our office, worker's or emergency service should it have been needed. I was not within the city to have ease of access. I had reached out the moment I had a phone operating again, however had no response for about 2 or 3 days. When you did respond, I felt there was some unprofessional hostility. Upon our initial call I had offered to schedule an appointment convenient to you. I proposed a few options available in our schedule. You had chosen the earliest one. Since then, we had what I felt was a pleasant call the next day after our texts and we have now rescheduled an appointment for this coming Monday. I do hope all our future transactions can be positive. Once you explained your frustration with contractors not showing up to Almonte I realized your frustration had been building already. We do a number of rural jobs, distance is no issue for us. With this opportunity we will show you what it means to be a reputable and reliable contractor. We look forward to meeting with you this coming Monday. 🙂
