I teach Acoustic Guitar for Boomers! I founded Groove with the Guitar in order to bring people together through the positive power of music. My friends and I enjoy putting smiles on the faces of people who watch our concerts in seniors residences, long term care facilities, at school or at home.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to give the gift of music to people. As a long-time teacher, I still get a thrill when students finally 'get it' or when eyes light up as music touches their hearts.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been performing and teaching live for seniors, schools and at community events for many years. When COVID-19 hit, I needed to develop online courses, classes and concerts, as we no longer could meet in person.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a teacher with over 30 years experience. I offer a very gradual approach to learning to play the acoustic guitar. Each series of lessons is carefully planned for you to have success. If you enjoy singing, my aim is to get you playing and singing with the guitar right away (1st lesson). The guitar is a wonderful instrument to bring people together and I want you to experience the joy you can bring to yourself and other by playing this instrument.
