They were professional and understanding. Up to date videos, with a different trainer. Professional information comments from the lead instructor Sal. The only downfall I had is that my puppy’s were very dirty when I picked them up, smell like they were at a barn playing in poo.lol. Had to get them groomed right after.
I understand this is not a spa, so no harm done. In regards of the training they were very professional, completed the task that I asked. For two little puppies they were trained well. Sal showed me that he had the best interests of my pet above all else, right from the start. He was open and honest with me. I would recommend him anytime.

Making that phone call was the best decision I have ever made to get my dog under control. I tried so many different trainers, every single gadget, even a dog behavioural therapist! ! Nothing worked. I couldn't imagine spending that much money for the 6 week program he needed but I had to do it. It broke my heart to leave him that long but I got to see videos every few days and received constant updates. The care and genuine love Sal and his team have for these dogs is admirable.
My almost 2 year old Australian Shepherd had fear anxiety and would bark at everything, jump on people and knew he was in charge. Not anymore!! After 4.5 weeks Sal called to say that Ozzy was a changed dog and didn't need to stay the full 6 weeks. I was shocked to hear, that not only do I get my reformed dog home early but also a refund!! They could have kept him there in a crate and I would have no idea but they didn't. I was blown away.
I'm happy to report that Ozzy is a completely different dog...so calm , still super lovable and he didn't forget me!! As long as I do my homework and do exactly as Sal showed me, this works. Sal even makes himself available 24/7 for any questions or concerns which is so appreciated!

Sal and his team did a great job with Kloe in the 4 week puppy program. She used to be overwhelmingly energetic and immature and very rarely listened to commands. She was also a very hard dog to walk because she would always pull and get distracted by anything and everything. After their solid foundation work and intense leash training she is much easier to handle and can tell that her training moving forward is going to be much easier thanks to the ground work done at Friendly K9 training. Sal has also been very responsive when I need help with her and am confident in the lifetime guaranteed help. He has reassured me many times that even when she has bad days or a misbehaves on a walk that it’s all a process. Looking forward to seeing more results the more I work with her! Thank you so much Sal and RS for your amazing work with our 8 month old, German Shepherd, Harley. She attended the Advanced Obedience and off leash E-Collar training for 6 weeks. She acted aggressively towards other dogs when she entered the program. We could see your hard work almost right away as she gained confidence and trust in herself and was able to interact with other dogs positively. Your communication and customer care was out of this
WORLD! Every video you sent (almost every other day) came first, with a voice commentary and then video which gave us an understanding of what steps she was learning. We felt that she was very loved by your staff as the affection and care “oozed” through the videos. It was also evident that there was a mutual affection between her and the handler, as she constantly looked to him with excitement and an eagerness to please. You always answered our questions with thoroughness and ALWAYS took the time to speak or text with us almost immediately. We felt like your only customer. You assured us each time we texted that she was learning and advancing. It was an amazing day to pick her up and actually see what she had learned in action, with “US” giving her the commands and her “RESPONDING” to us. We were completely floored at how sharply she obeyed the commands. We were full of anxiety when we brought her to you, and now she is a DREAM. We are so excited to spend time with her, having confidence that she is a happy dog. We left with a feeling that we can now bring our dog in any environment and feel confident and in complete control of her.

I haven’t sent my dog yet but they explained their training method and all sounded great.

Sal and his team were able to transform our 5 month old female GSD from a scared, and skiddish puppy into a more confident one. He was able to show us how to get her to stop pulling and get her in the heel position with no prong or e-collar- just the same collar she was dropped off with. Sal and his crew have been diligent in their approach to correcting my dog's aggressive behavior which was not resolved by a prior dog rehab facility claiming they were experts in dog aggression resolution - they merely masked the issues with e-collar training by suppressing the dog's natural behavior. There were no weekly reports or videos showing what they were claiming and how they were training him and there were no live chat updates - I had to call and request for updates and even then they were not of substance. When I got him back the aggression issue was still there.

Sal updated me with my dog's progress 3 times a week with videos and commentaries on the work they were doing and Sal followed up weekly with a one-on-one discussion about the progress. Sal was the last resort for my dog and because of Friendly K9, my dog is back at home and we are enjoying him without the aggression issues that were both a liability and hindrance to my dog being a family dog in my home. Sal has also offered to come to my home to follow through and introduce me to proper e-collar training post aggression resolution on a flat collar. We originally were recommended Friendly K9 from a friend of ours. We had a 3 month old German Shephard which needed puppy training. It's been two months since we brought her in and I couldn't be any happier. When they say life time support, they're not kidding lol. Between my wife and I, we must have reached out 3-4 times. Let me just start off by saying Sal is an excellent trainer and is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted for our Doberman Puppy. She was experiencing separation anxiety and was not properly crate trained and within a weeks time had her crate trained. To top it off they were very communicative and sent us updated videos with 24 hour access if we had any questions. Without a doubt would recommend him and his services. 3 week board and train and had her very obedient and no more leash pulling. As well as not having her distracted with her surroundings. We are so pleased we enrolled our dog Loki through the 7 week anxiety/ aggression rehabilitation program. For a brief run down Loki is a 2 year old black lab with severe anxiety and aggression towards strangers, other dogs and very rarely us. We ended up moving recently and that is when things truly got out of hand to the point we couldn't take him on walks or go anywhere with him. This was extremely stressful for us and Loki. I posted a help ad on bark.com as we were at the point we didn't know what else to do. Sal and his team from Friendly K9 reached out to us and assured us that not all hope was lost with our boy. We were getting a lot of mixed messages from other "trainers" who informed us that Loki could not be helped. Sal assured us that this was not the case and that the anxiety/ aggression program would help him and us have a more stress free life. Just within that first 30 minutes of meeting him we learned so much and watched Loki get some correction instantly. We decided to go for it and I can assure you, it was the best decision we made. We got weekly updates of his progress and a lot of information throughout the program. We finally have our boy back and the difference in him is astonishing! We can now handle him and we take him on walks everyday with no issues. Sal has also continuously helped us with more training information even after the program is over. He has stated time and time again that he is more than happy to assist us anytime. I could go on and on about how truly amazing this company, program, and Sal are and I thank him and his team for the amazing work they do. We appreciate the review. It was interesting to hear how many veterinarian's advised you to put your dog on medication to calm this severe aggression Loki was dealing with. Not to mention the so called trainers who said they could not help this dog BUT they specialize in Aggression and Anxiety. ALOT of "dog trainers" do not have any idea how to curve behaviours in these dogs, establish new patterns and provide the coping skills in order for the dog to live a normal life once again. The most common method they use are Ecollars which provide compulsion training to the dog which the "Trainer" will light the dog up when it does not comply to the commands and that is how a lot of dogs get ruined over and over and NOW there is no coming back. Aggression and Anxiety can only be handled by EXPERIENCE Trainers who actually specialize in this area. Many videos we sent per week you had never seen a Ecollar on your dog - we establish a relationship, bond and trust with the dog in order to manipulate the behaviours. Your dog is now home, listening, no tools around his neck to get him to comply - this is what true rehabilitation is about and to hear the success you and your family has had since coming into our 7 week program is why we are in this business. You have LIFE TIME support with us as specified in our contract and we look forward to watching you succeed each day with Loki.

Sal and his team of trainers did an amazing job on my 2 seven month Dachshunds in the 3 week program. Over the 3 weeks I got video and audio updates to see and hear about their progression. They are obedient, well behaved, and they don’t annoy my sister’s older dog anymore. It was hard being away from them that long but absolutely worth it! Last night and this morning we had our meals in peace without them jumping and begging for food. Of course after I had to reward them with a couple treats just to let them know how pleased I was. Since they’ve been home there have been no accidents and I still have a bit of work to do to maintain that but so much better than before their training. I am so pleased to have my puppies back and not be worried about how they’ll behave around other people or dogs. If your dog is suffering with anxiety and socializing. Please don’t bother to waste your money on any other training/behaviour correction facility I did a lot of research when we finally realized our beloved springer was out of control. We must all realize that not only humans have been affected by the pandemic. Our pets have been just as stressed. Thank heavens I found Sal at Friendly K9 training. Please call and talk them . All the trainers are professional,caring,and devoted to giving your fur baby the best life possible. Everything was explained to us in detail and regular updates with video were sent. A lot and I mean A LOT of owners get fooled by the, "I will come to your house and train your dog and as soon as the Trainer realizes this can not EVER be done for Aggression and Anxiety cases they blame the owners OR simply tell you there are no refunds. People who are truly looking to better not only their life but their dogs life reach out to US and do not make excuses or find the cheaper non effective "routes" which ruin the dog more with the lack of experience MANY trainers have in this particular area. We have had and still have coming in many dogs that have already been to other schools in there programs and unfortunately they were not able to turn the dog around and curve the behaviours as this area of training takes skilled trainers. Hence why we tell potential clients do NOT get fooled by great sales guys, LOW prices and fancy websites as there is a catch to it all! I am so happy to hear this news, we are happy you made the right decision the first time around!!!

Best decision ever. My 10 month old retriever could not be walked on a leash prior to this program. Sal is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Sal was amazingly informative during the 6 week board and train for our rescue pup. He messaged us every couple to three days and showed us her video progress. He answered all our questions and got back to us within an hour. He taught her so many life changing behavior skills. She's so easy to walk now and has such great manners! I have never dealt with a trainer who was willing to call me multiple times just to answer questions and trust me there was a lot of them!
He made sure I felt comfortable and that I knew he would be there every step of the way to help me.
I absolutely love that they do everything themselves, including muzzle training which was not offered to me by any other company- especially when you have a reactive German shepherd rescue.
I truly believe in this company and appreciate how knowledgeable they are.

Absolutely worth the money I spent with my dog Winny. We had purchased the 4week Aggression/Anxiety program as our dog was way out of hand and we had no clue how to fix this. After doing private sessions with two trainers and literally we got nowhere we reached out to Sal and his team. Thank you Sal!! We are so happy with FriendlyK9 and how they have helped our lives. Our Belgian Malinois we have had since a puppy and she is now 4yrs old. Her behaviours were really getting out of hand. She had nipped two friends of mine and became pretty aggressive towards just about everything.

After making calls to various schools, some told us this can not be fixed and to look at putting her down which was completely out of the question. We reached out to Sal and you can tell this was not the first case he has heard of. He recommended the 6 week aggression program which we were sad to loose her for so may weeks BUT the results are mind blowing.

She is a totally different dog. Sal gave us home work to do for 20 minutes a day to keep up the training which we have been doing and we are just so thankful. There were never any promises made to us except Sal would do everything he could for us. Now it is a pleasure to go on walks, go through high traffic areas and just enjoy her as we were when our dog was younger. We enrolled our one year old Milo to their 2 week training course.. Sal returned Milo back totally transformed. Walking Milo now has been a pleasure no more pulling on the leash, stopping everywhere to pee or trying to attack other dogs. When the doorbell rings he sits patiently at the front door and allows people to come in without jumping on them.
Sal and his crew always made themselves available for any questions or concerns we had and gave us daily videos and updates of Milo's process.

These guys are the real deal. After speaking with many other schools and coming across Friendly K9 it was the absolute best decision we made for our Doberman. My dog suffered extreme anxiety around other people, even testy with my in-laws which brought great concern to our family.

Sal was upfront, honest and never over promised what he could do for our family like other schools who had not even met our dog yet. After the 7 weeks Thor our Doberman has done a total 360. Its a pleasure now to walk into PetSmart with out him licking his lips and growling at people with the occasional bark. All I can say is WOOOW!! These guys are honestly amazing. My 4yr old Husky has been with me since a pup and the lack of training over the years and socializing (now that i know) made him afraid of people and other dogs. He was extremely reactive and a major liability for myself and family. Friendly K9 had taken “bruno” for the 6week rehabilitation program and i just can’t believe how they have done this in 6weeks. We definitely recommend Friendly K9 Dog Academy. We enrolled our stubborn Aussiedoodle puppy in their 3-week program, and when she returned, it was like they had pressed the reset button. All her bad habits were gone, or they gave us a strategy to correct the unwanted behaviour. Their staff were professional, knowledgeable, experienced and caring. They made themselves available for all of my family's questions and provided support after the program was over. I can not thank Friendly K9 enough. My 5 yr old Boxer/American Bully started to become aggressive, overly protective of me, leash pulling, it was soo bad I couldn't even take him out for walks or play
anymore because he would lunge at everyone. I did a 4 week board and train. Friendly K9 is extremely knowledgeable friendly and helpful. Not only do they help the dogs, they also help the owners.
