Dear Jennifer, I appreciate your recent review of my housecleaning services. However, I must respectfully clarify a few details in response to your comments. When I initially met with you, I quickly realized that your home required deep cleaning due to its deplorable condition. The massive accumulation of furniture and belongings from your big move and the presence of several cats (it being a "cat house") made for a challenging cleaning task. Despite these challenges, I spent two full days, approximately 13 hours combined, providing a thorough initial cleaning that significantly improved your home and living conditions. We then agreed to a weekly cleaning schedule, but unfortunately, you canceled four times within the eight weeks we worked together. Directly after the initial clean, you were absent for two weeks. These absences made it difficult to maintain our progress in the initial cleaning, as the clutter, dust, and cat hair accumulated again, requiring additional deep cleaning upon our return. Every visit felt like an initial cleaning all over again. Furthermore, despite sending invoices to the two email addresses you provided, payment was late on a couple of occasions. These payment issues and scheduling difficulties made maintaining a productive and effective working relationship challenging. As you may recall, on February 13, I sent you a 'Discontinuation of Cleaning Services' email (to both addresses) explaining that I would have to discontinue my services due to the distance of your home from my work radius. Unfortunately, rather than addressing this issue with me, you left this review for the high-quality service I provided. This lack of communication and respect for my services made it clear that we could not continue working together. Regarding your comment that I "quit," I would like to clarify that I did not quit but completed the agreed-upon scope of work for every cleaning session. I was always happy to accommodate you when you requested tasks beyond the scope of my work (i.e., shoveling snow) at no additional cost. If you had any concerns about service costs, you could have discussed them with me before agreeing to them. I pride myself on delivering a high-quality, efficient, reliable cleaning experience tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. While I appreciate your feedback, I must clarify that your review does not accurately reflect the circumstances surrounding our work together. I remain committed to providing high-quality and personalized cleaning services to my clients and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Elmo was very pleasant and was quick to get back to us with a date & time. He was very professional when he arrived at the house and did the tour. However we had hired Elmo for a deep clean as the first clean and I am disappointed to say we did not receive that. There were many things missed - shelves on walls, baseboards, cobwebs, under the bed, didn’t even do the front foyer. If it was just a regular clean I wouldn’t have expected for it all to be done the but price we paid I expected more. The things that were cleaned was done very well. I read many good reviews for him, so I’m sure if it’s just a regular cleaning he does everything required. But if you are looking for more, I suggest either being more specific or looking elsewhere. I can’t fix the past, but you have my personal commitment to improving how I serve every client moving forward. Based on my service agreement, I offer my clients a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Had you reached out one month ago when I did the cleaning, I would have provided one of two solutions to resolve your concern, either a refund or a reclean. A month later makes it hard to do so.
