I have had an office renovation on summer 2018 in Richmond, and I used their services for supplying carpet tile and installation. They helped me and my client for selecting the material and I have found them knowledgeable and professional. Although the installation was on weekends, when office was closed, they took care of shipment, removal, cleaning and installation adequately. I was out of the city for 10 days and they manage the project and at the end could provide a piece of material on Saturday at 9pm for finishing the job, which for me was too appreciated. Last spring we bought our first house. We had a tight timeline, limited budget, and a fixer upper. From the moment we met Vickey, she demonstrated that she wanted our business and sounded positive about our budget and our timeline. Other companies we’d approached so far were uncertain about both budget and timeline. Through the process, Vickey worked with us to help us make decisions, called suppliers to ensure we had the best pricing, and helped us design our dream home. We used Edgemont floors to renovate almost our entire home – new hardwood floors, new kitchen, new bathroom vanities; from floor to ceiling in almost every room. The floors are definitely their specialty and are absolutely perfect and meticulously installed. The kitchen design by Hamid is wonderful and he even integrated my ideas into the plan so the kitchen is exactly what I want. I don’t expect large projects to be without issues, but when issues did arise, they took ownership and fixed everything, even small details, to our satisfaction. Their whole crew was EXTREMELY nice and went out of our way to make things special for us. They also worked extremely hard to meet our timeline for us. We weren’t living in the property at the time, but when we met our new neighbours, they said our contractors were working super hard and there every day for long hours. They said they were used to seeing other contractors do short days or take long breaks, but not these guys! Edgemont has been doing flooring for us for several years as suites come available in our co-op in West Van. The service is courteous, efficient and timely and the prices reasonable as well. Vicky is always friendly and efficient and returns calls and emails promptly.. Hussein is the carpet layer that does our carpets and he is one of the best in the carpet laying business; he is always on time, friendly, quick and efficient and most importantly, he will not waste your time or your money in any way. Lastly Edgemont go out of their way to offer you the best service, products and value for your money. Edgemont floors came to the rescue when the condo I purchased came with "puppy" water damage.
Once they started, my condo revealed all sorts of defects left by the previous owners bad renovations.
It ended up that the only thing I kept were the kitchen cabinets. As the project grew in scope so did the support I received from Shifteh, Vickey, Ali and everyone at the store.
They may advertise as a flooring company but have skilled craftsmen that can cover any aspect of a renovation.

Thank you to Ali , master tiler who came in to do the fireplace and kitchen and on short notice to redo a shower that I had done by another company and that had failed.
Everyone involved always did their best to keep costs down by making suggestions along the way.

Steve was wonderful. His first quote seemed high so I went to King of Floors to compare. What I noticed is the King's pricing looked really attractive but Steve quotes for sub-floor prep whereas the King's recommended installer did not. Seeing the amount of work that goes into prep confirmed to me that the King's pricing is not far off Steve's and I'm sure the difference in quality of installation and flooring is significant. Going with Steve was worth the extra money.

In the end we went with a faux wood vinyl and a little carpet for our two units. The vinyl looks great, fits well within our budget and is very practical with our young child trolling the house. I should note that Allan did a fantastic job installing. Even our plumber commented on the transitions to the 1" higher kitchen were done with great care. We could not be happier with the outcome and the price.

Sassan's crew installed a subfloor and flooring in a very tight 1 wk schedule and really helped us out. Our rental suite was available for a wedding party coming for their daughters wedding from out of town, and they were very happy. The floors turned out great and we really appreciated the professional advice, workmanship etc.

Steve at Edgemont Floors was awesome! He was professional, very knowledgeable, and worked within our budget, while still making sure we had the best quality workmanship and finished product. He followed up every step of the process and was always available to help. When we had an unexpected malfunction of the carpet we had installed, Steve called in the warranty, worked with the manufacturer and a private inspector and ended up getting us brand new carpets installed completely under warranty. Despite the fact that this was probably a little inconvenient for him as our job had been finished for a few months already when we started noticing the problem, he was, as always, friendly, personable and ready to make it work for us to the best of his ability. We worked with Steve at Edgemont to buy flooring for our whole house... through this process, I discovered that I'm somewhat indecisive and picky when it comes to flooring. After several trips to the store and countless take-home samples, I was sure we would be getting tired of us but he was never anything other than helpful and courteous. The store seems to do an amazing job at educating their staff on the products, and Steve was honest and informative with his recommendations. He asked all the right questions to get the needed information and then steered us away from products that might not fit the bill for our needs. He even came out to our house to take a look at the space and help narrow down our choices!
