Excellent teaching staff,they are very knowledgeable on puppy and dog behaviour ,friendly,and .organized The facilities are very clean,spacious for the 8 dogs / class. The lessons are done in an easy to follow pattern,with homework pages for you to work on at home so your ready for the next classThey quickly assess each puppies ability and step in when neededI found the classes relaxed ,fun for both my husband and our puppy.He became better at mixing with the various pups, if they see a pup being quiet at play time and not mingling ,they help the pup socialize better into the group.using good safe techniques I’d definitely recommend this puppy training so your pup gets started on the right path on being well trained. My Rhodesian Ridgeback and I just finished the 4 week Dealing with Walking course. What a brilliant idea of having an inside and outside lesson. Thank you Andrew for making walking a pleasant and safe experience for me and my dog. With this course and a dog halter there is no more pulling me around the block. Together me and my dog are learning how to deal with the unexpected distractions of walking outside. You always allowed time to answer questions and my husband and I really felt that each session built on the previous class. I will be sure to recommend you to other dog owners. My boyfriend and I brought our puppy to dealing with dogs and did the Puppy Applause class. We found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to the many questions we asked! I thought giving out a homework package was a great idea! Gave us things to work towards for our next class. We enjoyed our instructor Margie so much that we signed up to be in her Puppy Applause 2 class. Highly recommended. More...

It is with great pleasure that I write this review of Dealing with Dogs. I have been coming to this pet training facility with my two golden doodles for almost 8 years. We have attended the Puppy Applause 1 and 11, Puppy Masters, Walking on Leash and the Recall program. I have found the instructors, and owner Jackie, to be extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They work with the whole family, or individual owner, to train your dog in a fun, controlled environment. The homework packages are very helpful and give you goals and things to practise before the next class. We learned so much and I am very grateful. I now feel I have dogs that truly "listen" to me. I also love going to the off leash and, while my dogs get to chase balls, I get to socialize with other dog owners and the owner Jackie. I continue to learn more about my dogs everyday and credit DWD for this. More...

My energetic Boston Terrier, Wally, and I are heading into our fourth summer of Agility after the suggestion of our first instructor at DWD in the Puppy Applause classes. Suzanne is a great teacher and coach who is so committed to helping us get better each time we see her. Her classes and practice sessions, especially when we get outdoors, are challenging and super fun for both of us. Suzanne has been great support for us with Wally as he's progressed from puppy classes through to advanced agility. Now our second dog, Rosie, who is a recent rescue girl who was afraid of almost everything when we adopted her, loves heading out to DWD where she managed Real World 101 with flying colours and is now working to catch up with Wally in the agility arena.
