We have a few key questions we go over with potential clients when starting a new project that are designed to truly understand your goals so we can meet and exceed expectations.

The most important questions are entirely dependent on your business or organization, what goals you have and the technology we'll be using to get you there.

We always like to start by identifying examples of design work that speak to you and will speak to your intended audience so we can determine the features, design style, concepts, layouts, colours and other website elements that will make the project a success for you.

We'll work with you through a kick off meeting with a project lead and a designer to understand your vision, before our team gets to work building a mock up of your site's homepage and interior page examples.

Our developers work closely with the design team to ensure the site's structure can come together quickly and effectively around the approved design.

We seek feedback at four specific times during the development process to ensure we're on the right track; before the design work begins, once we've created a mock-up, once we've created a functional development site, and once we've completed the job. This gives you many opportunities to provide important feedback along the way and helps us ensure you're happy with the result.

It's important to understand what features you'd like included on your website, if there are particular layouts or navigation options you prefer, whether you have a preference for a content management system, in addition to the goals and objectives of the site.

Target audience, preferred colours, design themes etc. are all things we cover as well in advance of kicking off the design work.

I love watching people's ideas come to life on the screen! It is amazing when someone can tell us what they're looking for and challenge us to replicate what is in their head in a manner that their eyes will recognize and approve of.

There is also a deep satisfaction of helping people grow their ideas into businesses and organizations that will sustain themselves, and have an impact on their broader communities.

After building up experience working in a range of professions around communications, it was important to me to be able to pick the people, businesses and organizations I worked with on common goals.

Building a company from a name written in a notebook and a badly sketched out logo into something that supports nine professionals and their families, while helping hundreds of clients each year do the same continues to be an honour after all this time.

For us, it is so important to create a compelling, effective design that makes a difference for our clients. It drives us more than anything.

We certainly can provide our services remotely. While we have physical locations and team members in British Columbia and Ontario, we've always had clients that are further spread out than that, including as far away as South Korea, in many US states and a number of Canadian provinces.

This has been really important to us and is something we started to talk about early as a team, even before governments in Canada were putting in place public health orders.

We shifted our team to a mostly work from home model in early March 2020, to keep our team, their families and our clients safe. We continue to rely on collaboration tools for sharing and meeting with clients online. We're able to accept payment by credit card or cheque and are relying exclusively on digital proposals and signatures to move agreements forward.
