I ordered takeout, and the server who greeted me was nice. The vegetable pakoras were amazing--so light and crispy, and had visible pieces of vegetables. The outside of the samosas were not as flaky as I would have liked, but maybe it just made with a different style? The butter chicken was more on the sweet and tomato-y side, but there were many pieces of very tender chicken. The chicken korma was great! Regular and garlic naan were both so soft and thin and delicious. Overall, it was a positive experience. More...

Food took a while to come out but well worth the wait. All dishes above average except the butter chicken which was too sweet and runny.

Place is good. I liked chicken tikka masala. However, paneer makhani was very sweet, like a sweet dish. It could have been more spicy and less sweet.

The best indian food restaurant in downtown toronto. Not a lot of people know about this place yet but its probably the most authentic indian food you will ever have. Man! the quantity they offer is so generous. The chef and the staff are so friendly and always greet you with a smile! Visit this place if you want to have great food and a good time! More...

Stopped by this amazing place for the first time for dinner. We ordered Goat Massaledar, Naan and some rice. Although, we wanted to order some Chicken Biryani initially, we were heavy by then, but left with some gravy. So we ended up ordering a portion of rice. Guess what?! FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend this place and will come back soon, for Biryani. :) More...

I went with a group of friends during lunch time and we only ordered apps to share. I found the food to be pleasantly good. We ordered chicken. pakora, chefs apps selection and fish pakora. I think all of them tasted pretty good. I found 1 or two pieces of chicken that didnt seem as fresh or rather chewy. Which was odd because chicken is usually not chewy. Rest io the dishes were pretty good. The star for me was their own mango chutny. It was delicious. I would probably go back to try their other entree items. More...

This place is SO good. We are always looking for quality and authentic Indian food, especially in our neighbourhood, and are so pleased to have found it here. No disrespect to Bhindia - the other Indian restaurant in the St. Lawrence area - but Chadani beats it. The flavors, spice, and portions are superior. It's on Colbourne and a little away from both foot and vehicle traffic, so I hope more people spread the word! More...

Excellent choice for delicious Indian food in downtown Toronto. As we were staying in Omni King Edwards, this was a very short walk. We ate dinner here few times and the food was delicious. The appetizer Paneer pakoras and onion Bhaji were excellent. Chicken Biryani was also pretty good. Service can be slow during Friday/ Sat evening but otherwise it’s pretty good. More...

Friendly service. Not a huge amount of choices but food was tasty and spice was not overpowering. Good price and wish there were more dessert options but to be honest, was pretty full at that point anyway. Butter chicken was good but star dish for me was the curry goat. Tender and well flavored, no gamey taste at all. May not be on menu everyday but would go back just for this More...

This in a place which would be less noticable as it's hidden in a small street, but actually they are worth the money place for buffet. I guess there buffets are cheaper during weekdays and more on Fridays. They have a pretty good variety and one good dessert option too. They provide fresh naans on the table. More...

Amazing Indian food that tastes homemade, in the best way. They have complex dishes which don't rely on cheap ingredients, and are packed full of veggies. The vegan items are clearly marked in the menu, and there are many to choose from. Most notable is their ability to accommodate special requests with your order, like no salt! Prices are reasonable, food delicious, and service is always great. More...
