What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having a relaxed client is essential to great photos. With adults, Spending time before the session to chat, address any concerns and giving each person some space to unwind is key. With Children, it is important they feel comfortable with their photographer- we spend time chatting, playing and giggling, this helps them open up and give those sincere expressions.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
First, we must establish what the photos will be used for and who will be looking at them. This sets the overall mood of the photos and allows for creativity to flow within the session.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people. I find great joy in capturing photos of clients that they love, wether they love having their photos taken or not!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My children. Having a flexible schedule doing what I absolutely love and still being able to spend quality time with them has been wonderful. I am truly grateful for what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I spent many years in front of the camera and understand what it’s like to have someone take photos of you. The best photographer’s allowed me the time to relax, let me know what I was doing right and showed me the photos in camera so I could make adjustments where need be. I pass this along to my own clients.
With children, I have always naturally connected with them, and i feel its because I adore them, and It shows. This allows us to become friends during the shoot resulting in great images.
