Yesterday I went to this restaurant with my manager for a Christmas get together, we ordered Tava Bhature and Amritsari Kulche Chholey and were blown away by the taste. They also had a delicious lemon water and the staff was delightful. The cost is a little bit higher than most restaurants but who wouldn't charge a little extra for this amazing fine dining experience. 5/5 from me. More...

Amazing food and service! They serve great chaat, delicious meals, and mouth watering desserts. Highly recommend their Bombay chaat and kulfi faluda! This place is truly underrated.

We visited Bombay Chowpatty by chance since Royal Paan, right next door had no seats left. As soon as we stepped in, the first thing we noticed was the ambiance. The place is small and almost too dark, which makes it seem even smaller. We are not a huge fan of the interior and that's where the 0.5 points go.Aside from that, we have only wonderful things to say about this restaurant! The waiters were friendly and helpful with the menu choices. Service was probably a little slow, but we didn't mind it all that much. We ordered Pani Puri, Tandori Chicken Chaat and Bombay Chaat for starters and Amritsari Kulcha (Bread stuffed with onion and potatoes, served with chickpeas and pickle) and Chhole Bhatura (Bread with chickpeas) for main course. Food was phenomenal! I'd go as far as to say this place has one of the best Indian food in Calgary at the moment (as good as Chennai Spices in NE) and is far better than it's peers in flavor and authenticity. The servings were generous and had the perfect amount of spices in it, something which is hard to achieve with Indian food.We'd give 5 stars to all the dishes except maybe the Bombay Chaat which was a 4/5. We will definitely be going back here to try the other things on their menu and prefer it to Royal Paan and Lajawab in the same vicinity. Highly recommended! More...

Fantastic food with excellent service.. The Amritsari kulcha was really delicious. I will like to go there again. I would suggest if they can add more items in the menu like "veg momos - steamed and fried".

This evening I had a chance with my family to visit bombay chowpatty restaurant in Castleridge owned and managed by a very good friend and a great human being Mr Parmjit Sandal . What a lovely place for a nice and delicious dinner or typical punjabi desi dishes specially Maki ki roti sarson kaa sag n lassi we just loved the dish , taste , presentation and service . I am visiting Calgary. The best part of the trip is #Bombay #chowpatty restaurant in calgary. Due to being a vegetarian its hard to find dine out. So I just google it and walk in Bombay Chowpatty Restaurant makes you feel like you are in india and dinning bikaner chat and no compromise with food. Presentation is not less than a five star. Brand new Indian restaurant in NE Calgary. Bombay Chowpatty is quite a popular brand in Dubai, Toronto & some other cities in the world. Glad it opened in Calgary. Nice little restaurant, quick service, good food. I recommend: chaat, pani puri, aloo tikkis & fish pakoras. Indian style coffee was quite good too!
