In August 2019, I contracted Bluenose to re shingle our residence in Purcell's Cove area, Halifax. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience and would like to share some of the details. . First dealing was with Don B for the cost estimate. Felt very comfortable with Don's knowledge of the roofing requirements, recommended materials and and sensitivity to property landscape protection. Work began on a timely basis and Thomas was the lead roofer on my project. During early stages, it was obvious that Thomas was a 'special' guy, having a wealth of roofing experience, tremendous work ethic, attention to detail and sharp focus on client satisfaction. I say this on basis of my ongoing personal observations, being on the roof and in discussions with him over 3 day period. Two days after roofing project was completed, Hurricane Dorian struck Halifax and hit the Purcell's Cove coastal area particularly hard. Unsolicited, that same evening after storm had subsided, Thomas arrived on the scene to inquire about our status and then, following day, returned with ladder to inspect roof for damaged or missing shingles (found 1 corner shingle that he promptly replaced) My experience, in dealing with Thomas and Don B could not have been more satisfying and I'd highly recommend the Bluenose team. Hi. I just wanted to share some feedback with you. First I'd like to thank Karl, Don and all the hardworking individuals and administrators that have worked on our house's roofing and siding. The workmanship and service have been 5 STAR since the very first time we contacted you back in 2017! We listed our house this month and on day 2 we had an accepted offer. I had a piece of Fascia blow off a corner and I called Bluenose to get in and get it closed up before the birds got in and started nesting as its that time of year . A professional team came in took their measurements and got the job done when the weather permitted ( too much wind ) .
