Bavaru catered our wedding for 250 people. The day was absolutely amazing and honestly, every single table that we went around and visited with had nothing but compliments about the food. Family members with dietary needs said the special meals were very impressive. And the perogi bar we had for midnight lunch was a big hit!!! The staff also was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond in so many ways, including going out and renting an extra mic the day before while setting up when the external venue ones weren’t working. My husband and I were married on May 4th at the old fire hall no. 1. From the moment we walked into the building to look at the venue and speaking with Alejandro, we knew this was the right choice. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue. We wanted an Italian style dinner, and Alejandro and his team did not disappoint. Our guests raved about the food even day, and now months later. The decor for the ceremony was spot on with the requests I made for the alter, and the space was used beautifully for the dinner and reception. The whole building was beautiful and unique.There was an area for dancing, music set up, bar set up, and an area for our guests to sit and relax if they wanted. We had about a total of 100 people attend (60 for dinner and additional guests for dancing and reception). It didn’t feel too cramped for dinner, and we moved some tables for the dancing portion to make space; it wasn’t congested at all. The staff were all so accommodating and truly made our day perfect. We stoped at Bavaru attracted by the building and the big windows. We were not disappointed of what we found: a very friendly service, delicious food, with some original European dishes, very tasty, and the price was really unbelievable. I hired BavaRua Events and Catering very last minute to do the lights and backdrop for our wedding on September 10 2016. Although it was short notice, Alejandro went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us! He greatly exceeded my expectations and we had the perfect amount of lights for our tent wedding. Alejandro is a wonderful person to work with, easy going, on time and knows his stuff! We used the the globe lights along with many different colors and sizes of his lanterns above our dance floor for our May wedding this year. It tied into the rest of our theme and gave that whimsical feeling on the dance floor. It was beautiful. Me and my Wife hired Bavaru Events and Catering for our wedding.
Our experience of picking the food/decor was easy and simple. Alejando, was very professional and help-ful. He gave us good advice, and had a HUGE food selection.
The price to hire them, was very reasonable, and got a ton of food!
Overall leading up to our wedding they were very helpful.
Then the day of our wedding, every worker, and every thing went smooth, and everyone was very professional.

All I heard all night was. "That chicken/food, was so good"

BavaRua catered the Newcomers Welcoming Event organized by Lethbridge LIP initiative held at the Multicultural Centre on February 7, 2017. The event was in part sponsored by Heart of Our City as well as some additional support from Lethbridge Toyota. Chef Alejandro attended some of our event planning meetings,offering ideas and suggestions until we finally decided on a meal we wanted to serve our guests taking into consideration many unique factors. Because it was a public event, and the first time it was held, we had no idea how many people would come. We were able to feed at least 450 people that night and there was more than enough delicious food for everyone! Alejandro and his team were flexible, organized, and efficient! We were able to feed lots of people and managed to stay on budget! The food we offered was certainly contributed to the success of the event! Thank-you so much - it was awesome!
