Audio Editing/ Mixing
I offer high quality audio work for musicians, film makers and podcasters. The breadth of this work can be anywhere from cleaning up a noisy or muddy recording, to making complex edits and sound stages for creative music projects.
Audio Mastering
Audio Mastering is the process of preparing a mixed song for commercial consumption. It can involve as little as level adjustments for consistency (in an EP or album) and it can also involve more "coloring" or "styling" which is where things like EQ and compression come in. When Mastering, my job is also to optimize the recording for commercial speakers of all different sizes and qualities. That's the biggest role that mastering plays. It is supposed to make the recording sound good no matter what kind of device it's being played from.
