What do you love most about your job?
I love taking a plain or worn-out yard and turning it into something clean, beautiful, and usable. The best part is seeing the homeowner’s face when the work is done, that moment when they realize it's exactly what they wanted or even better . It feels good knowing we’ve helped create a space they’ll actually enjoy with their family and friends. That’s what keeps me going.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and seeing the results of a hard day’s work. After spending years in the landscaping and construction field, I realized I wanted more control over the quality of work and how clients are treated. I saw an opportunity to do things differently — to build a business that’s honest, reliable, and focused on real results. Starting A&K Landscaping was my way of turning that vision into reality, and giving people the kind of service I’d want for my own home.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We’ve taken safety seriously since day one. During COVID-19, we followed all local health guidelines to protect our customers and team. That included maintaining physical distance on-site, wearing masks when needed, sanitizing tools regularly, and offering contactless estimates and payments. Even now, we stay mindful of hygiene and safety to make sure every customer feels comfortable throughout the process.
