Flutter Flute Studio desires to create a fun, safe, and inspiring place for students of all ages to grow and develop their musical potential in either Flute or Beginner Piano. Whether they are preparing for exams and auditions in flute, or wishing to learn more about the Flute or Piano for their own enjoyment. Bringing her individualized approach and passion for music to each student, Alyssa enjoys helping aspiring musicians find their own unique sound, musicality, and expression while building a solid foundation in technique and control.
Alyssa is completing her Flute Performance at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She has won multiple awards at the Richmond Music Festival, the Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival, the Kiwanis Festival, and the Provincials held in Victoria.
Bringing her individualized approach and passion for music to each student, Alyssa enjoys helping aspiring musicians find their own unique sound, musicality, and expression while building a solid foundation in technique and control.
I am offering ONLINE LESSONS for the time being. In the Summer I will be offering In Person again.
I also offer a FREE 15 minute Meet & Greet via Zoom, Facetime, or Skype before starting lessons. This time is a chance to get to know me, as a teacher, and to discuss Flutter Flute Studio's Policies, the Registration Form and any questions that you may have.
COVID 19 Policies & Regulations
Safety and Regulations • IN PERSON:
I have opened up my at home studio, as of January 2020, for Beginner Piano Students ONLY. I have decided to continue teaching Flute Online for the time being, due to Flute being a wind instrument. I want to make sure my students feel safe and comfortable during this time.
WHEN COMING IN PERSON TO THE @ HOME STUDIO:
(1) Masks will be Mandatory for ALL Students.
(2) I will have Hand Sanitizer stationed outside to use before coming into the Studio.
(3) After every student I will be sanitizing my piano before the next student.
(4) I will be seated 6 feet away from the student.

ONLINE LESSONS:
Online Lessons will be done via Zoom. I will send out an email with the Zoom Link and Password that you will use every week to get into your lesson. Please make sure you have your instruments and books ready before the lesson.

I started learning guitar at the academy a year ago, the experience has been great - my guitar skill has been steadily improving, the price is fair, the schedule is flexible. My guitar teacher is also a very knowledgeable person. I am glad that I have found this place and will continue to learn from here!
