This depends on each couple. Normally, we’ll take photos of the wedding preparations from the bridal party and the groomsmen, as well as before, during, and after the ceremony. We also offer add-on services if our customers want to photograph moments from their reception and party. Plus, they can choose whether they want a first look shoot and engagement photos in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
It normally takes between 2-6 weeks for us to get the wedding photos back to the couple. This depends on how many photos are taken and what format the customers want their photos. A lot of the time is taken up by the editing process, as well as organising the photos to be printed as a wedding photo album, if the customer requested a physical copy. We can normally send digital, fully-edited copies of the wedding photos back to the customer two weeks after the wedding.
For most weddings, I’ll take around 4000-5000 photos. I’ll then whittle these down to around 600 photos by selecting the best, before editing them. Once I’m happy with the edits, the photos will be organised into different folders, such as ‘Pre-ceremony’, ‘Ceremony’, and ‘Post-ceremony’. I’ll then upload them to a photo-sharing service. If the customer has asked for physical copies, I usually suggest that they select their favourite 100-150 photos. After they’ve made their choices, I’ll send the photos off to print.

Splash photography- There's only so much I could say that will still fall short of the quality this business gave us. Hamish co-ordinated our wedding on Thursday 14/3 and was also our MC. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to Hamish and the Photography/ Videography team for all their amazing work and diligence! the preparation was so smooth and easy flowing, their commitment to detail and their workmanship was second to none. Hamish personally was a true gentleman, went above and beyond to ensure our big special day was captured to perfection. I couldn't recommend Splash photography enough for any events, ESPECIALLY something as important as your big day!! Also a massive thank you to Julie for all the behind the scenes work and co-ordination, the whole team pulled through and we are beyond grateful for the opportunity to have had Hamish and Splash Photography at our wedding! 10/10

John was our wedding photographer back in Nov 2014. We were referred to him from my diamond jeweler in Sydney (either as a lucky pick or intentional referral), nevertheless we were lucky to meet him in person. John has an incredible personality, bubbly and loves to crack witty jokes. He made my wife and I comfortable being around his presence. He was able to walk us through a short personal photography session to understand his style and able to create one of his signature Art portraits. I was originally sceptical at first but I’m glad we’ve stuck with our decision and not pursue anyone else. John was quick and efficient. He didn’t need to assemble people around to take perfect shots, he used his great judgement to predict and capture those “blink than you miss” moments We are happy to recommend John to other happy couples that wishes to celebrate their perfect day. Don’t take our word or the other positive reviews left by his other clients. Book a meeting with him and you’ll be able to know when you’ve made the right choice. Thanks again John! We still love our photos to this day. Side note: We haven’t forgotten your ankle slip on that day, but you’ve managed to continue taking those everlasting memories!
