What I love most about my job is being able to guide people through some of the most challenging times in their lives with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Helping clients feel empowered, heard, and protected—especially when it comes to their children or financial future—is incredibly rewarding. It’s a privilege to provide calm and practical solutions when they need it most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of working in family law, I saw a real need for a more personal, results-driven approach—one that combined legal expertise with genuine care and transparency. I started JTown Family Law to create a space where clients don’t feel like just another file number. I wanted to build a practice where people feel supported, understood, and guided with strength and clarity from start to finish.

From initial consultations to finalising legal documents, the entire process can be handled efficiently and securely without the need to attend in person. This makes it easier for busy professionals, parents, or interstate clients to get the legal support they need—on their terms.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To ensure client safety and comfort, I’ve shifted to offering most services online or by phone, reducing the need for face-to-face meetings. For in-person appointments, I follow hygiene protocols, including sanitising surfaces and maintaining safe distancing. Clients can choose the method of communication that suits them best—whether that’s a secure video call from home or a quiet office meeting with precautions in place.
