Planning a second wedding with a post ceremony dinner for only 28 in a private room for dinner, I started to panic and worry that the evening may seem dull and boring.
As a surprise for my future husband I searched for a Magician to sprinkle some magic over our evening and boy did he deliver. Drew was easy to communicate with, yet, after a bit of back and forth and a phone call I knew I left the rest to Drew. Together, we decided that for our intimate event in a long room with an 8.4m long table, that roving magic would be the most entertaining and engaging. I asked Drew if he thought he would be able, in a short space of time, to steal away the groom and hopefully 2 others to quickly teach a magic trick for them to then bring back to our guests to perform. Having the groom and 2 beloved members of our evening stand up and perform "A show" made our evening so much more personable and about us and our guests. The engagement and laughter from our guests was just wonderful.
Drew taught the tricks relatively quickly and well to allow our trio of unsuspecting magicians (it was a surprise none of the 3 new were happening).
I am so incredibly grateful that I engaged Drew. He knocked it out of the park, wowing our guests with up close magic, but then standing back and allowing his unsuspecting trio to quickly upskill and steal the show.
Our room was dark blue, moody and modern with theatrical dark burgundy velvet table cloth and a riotous 7m sunset coloured floral centerpiece. Drew dressed fittingly and took up the drama and fun to the next level.
We could not recommend Drew more.

I booked Drew as a surprise for my friend’s 25th Birthday, he was absolutely amazing! I especially appreciate that he went to the extra effort to create/modify tricks specific to the birthday girls interests. He made sure every guest was involved and all the girls were absolutely mesmerised. In the intermission he also spontaneously popped a few tricks on us which was extra funny! More...

How long have you been interested in magic?
I grew up loving magic. As a kid, there were a lot of magic shows on TV. Now, I just like the fun and the smiles it generates when we get to re-experience what it is like when we discover something new again.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
I like to tell a story or have a theme. For a platform or stage show, I will often weave a story and present magic to punctuate or demonstrate the story line. I can craft a custom show for your business presentation, special celebration or product launch.
Equally, I have show packages which are crafted just for fun. The effects selected are designed for fun and having a good time.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the joy on people's faces when they give up control and get to live the feeling of discovery when they see the impossible become real.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Fueled by the desire to share magic with others, I wanted to perform for the Adelaide Fringe. Now more that 6 years of sold out shows (even during COVID) later, I still have a passion for sharing magic with people who want to have a good time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am reliable, friendly and boutique in my ability to provide a tailored service for your specific event. Unless you want a specifically bottom-line budget package, you will not get a cookie-cutter clone show that everyone has seen before. No-one else does effects they way I do.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Whilst it is technically possible, I feel that Magic loses the relationship and personal touch online. I'm happy to discuss options but prefer face to face performances.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have minimal sharing of props and equipment and all my equipment, especially after handling by volunteers is thoroughly cleaned between shows. If you need, I can do a fully no-touch, no-share performance where there is no shared contact at all.
