We had a very reactive bull Arab x wolfhound, who was terrible at walks, barking at people and other dogs.. After a day of training I could not believe my eyes of what I was shown. 9 days later we have a completely changed well behaved dog who is crate trained also. Jaye and Matt are amazing. We adopted a border collie x kelpie who we suspect was abused. She was so fearful of everything and everyone. She would squeal, flip herself inside out and wet herself if we tried to put her on a lead. Her anxiety was so bad she would physically make herself sick when someone would come to the house. She wouldn't eat or drink and wanted nothing to do with humans. We invited Your Dog Coach to help us with her anxiety and help us teach her to like the lead. Our puppy, Willow ended up staying with Matt and Jaye for some extreme training. 9 days later we had a much braver little girl who was less fearful. She was happy on the lead and started to act more like a puppy. Fast forward 2 weeks and we have a brand new dog! She is brave and playful and trusts us. She eats her dinner and loves putting the lead on and going on adventures. She walks up to strangers for pats and lives a happy life with less fear. She will always be cautious but Jaye and Matt gave us the tools we need and taught us how to ensure she faces her fears safely and trusts us to protect her and show her life is good. Our willow pup deserved to live fearlessly, and thanks to Your Dog Coach, she can. Jaye and Matt took a terrified pup and turned her into a little stallion. Unbelievable, Matt controlled our puppies within a few hours. We were going crazy since getting our second puppy 8 weeks ago (on top of our 12 month old puppy), completely lost and really didn’t know what to do. I have a young German Shepherd who was having trouble walking on the lead and with her recall. I had heard Matt had done some incredible work for Emergency Service German Shepherds so was excited to work with him. I approached Matt a few months ago about my 18month old kelpie “George” Since a pup we had given him continuous at home training - however I was finding he was gradually losing his manners on the lead, pushing the boundaries by not acknowledging our commands, doing his own thing and becoming a little aggressive towards other dogs, particularly other males dogs.
From the very first inquiry, Matt was very informative and explained some possibilities as to why George was displaying these behaviours.
Matt then came out for a meet and greet, where he assessed George, our home environment and provided several training options - as not all training styles or equipment suits all. Over the following weeks Matt regularly checked in and we continued with more training sessions - Matt taught us to communicate with George in a way he understood and that was effective.
