Q&As

The relationships that we build with our students! We aim to become a welcoming community so that all students and tutors feel part of the YK-Family.

We also love sharing the excitement when students' results improve - that huge smile on the students' faces and changes in attitude towards study are what keeps us going :)

I've always tutored privately. Although I enjoyed my time as a high school teacher and sharing the energy of a thirty-student classroom, I missed the individual support that I could provide as a private tutor. With the right level of support, every student can achieve their personal best - we want to show to students that hard work always pays off!

We offer an individualised approach to teaching.
We fit somewhere between a private tutor who can be unstable sometimes and a tutoring school with larger classes. Students can make friends with others while learning in a structured environment.

Yes, we can provide online lessons as well. Although, we do recommend in-person lessons because the rapport that students build with us and other students is so valuable!

We have separated desks to maintain social distance.
Desks are cleaned frequently.
We ask students and tutors to do online lessons if they feel unwell. This way, lessons are not interrupted while keeping everybody safe.
