What’s your interior design process?
We meet with you to brainstorm and discover which styles and colours you prefer; how you use the space; who will use the space; and your budget and timeframes. We will provide expert advice and guidance, and can offer as much or as little support moving forward as you would like.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We cater for any style including Mid-Century Modern, Transitional, Scandi, Hamptons, Bohemian, Eclectic and 'beachy', and love creating eclectic, individual, bespoke designs. All our designs focus on texture, colour and comfort.
What do you love most about your job?
Discovering what our clients really want and need from the design and making it happen.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As the owner of Trace Elements, I have loved design since I was a child. I have won several national awards for visual merchandising and have designed and styled interiors across Canberra.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are passionate about our work. We understand that your home is your private sanctuary from the world and as such, it needs to make you feel comfortable and safe, while also being functional and practical. We focus on finding out what my you want and need, and collaborate with you throughout the entire process, whichever service you choose.

Like the Designer Chat option, we will brainstorm design ideas, but you will get a Design Elements Board to keep.Â
The Design Elements Board includes images and shopping links for the furniture and soft furnishings, artworks and accessories that work together to create the look and functionality to help you to visualise, budget and plan for your interior design project.

The Full Experience - from $1,500
Don't have the time to worry about booking tradespeople, finding and ordering your items, unpacking and setting up? It can take a lot of time and energy that not everyone has.
With this package you leave everything to us, from the initial designs and collaboration through to final set-up, we prepare selections, layouts and manage the whole logistical process for you.

Simple Staging - from $650
Ready to sell and want to maximise your sale price, or have an important event coming up? Leave it to us!
This is a budget-conscious option where we give advice on decluttering, rearranging and repurposing your furniture and accessories, saving thousands on rental costs.
What do you get?
- Advice on styling your pieces.
- A beautifully presented home to maximise your sale price without the cost of renting furniture and accessories.

Staging With Extras - from $1,650
Using most of your existing furnishings, and accessories, we will incorporate some of ours to showcase every room in your home for sale.Â
If required, we can arrange for trades people to complete the look.
What do you get?
- Staging using a mix of your pieces and ours.
- Accessories and small furniture rental for 4 weeks - longer rentals can be negotiated.
- Delivery, installation and styling, and collection of our pieces.

Complete Staging - from $1,800
Perfect for empty properties, we use all our furniture and furnishings to make sure you get the maximum sale price.Â
If required, we can also arrange for trades people to complete the look.Â

- Complete furniture and accessories rental for 6 weeks – this includes any furniture, accessories and artworks - longer rentals can be negotiated
