I had my first session with her and she great. Made me feel safe and calm while I told her all the problems. She came up with a plan to tackle them too which is shared with me was really helpful.
What do you love most about your job?
The great results I get from working with people who come with a "counselling is rubbish" attitude.
I love looking at their expressions of shock/interest when we are half way through our first session.
This attitude does not apply to any specific age group or gender, but after twenty five years in the field, and having worked with so many different presentations and attitudes, this is the best part of the job, the getting across to others, who , really do want help, but, have perhaps had a negative experience which has attributed to their negativity in terms of any successful outcome for them.

What inspired you to start your own business?
O have worked in all governmental and nongovernmental agencies, and it was time for me to branch out, some very well respected people in the field, encouraged me, and I took advantage of an opportunity at the right time, and it has been go go go, every since. A very busy practice, which is now located on the Gold Coast.
