What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
To envisage the end result and then to manipulate the light, using your camera settings to achieve that goal. A photograph shouldn't be of something, but about something. It should tell a story, capture a moment that conveys something greater that's happening. That goes for professional headshots, to real estate drone images to event photography and even product and brand shots.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want the person who sees this image to experience, feel and know about you or your product?
Where is this image going to be used? This determines the aspect ratio and orientation, as well as the mood and colour palette.
What other work have you seen that you'd like to influence your final images?
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people to create something beautiful that benefits them and improves their lives. This is true for a business where my work can help attract more clients and increase profit margin, or a newly engaged couple who want to capture a special memory, or a real estate agent trying to sell a house. I love the creative process and working with others to achieve that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to help businesses with images and video, when other options they might engage are potentially out of the price range. I have an eye for creative interpretations and really value beauty so I felt these aspects would be a wonderful addition to others.

If they want a friendly photographer who is well accomplished and confident for any challenge and they want quick and high quality service, then that's me.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a face mask when present and I don't take it off. I sanitise my hands before and after each job. I maintain a safe social distance from clients. I adhere to all government directives required at the time of shooting.
