Why Choose Us
This state of the art facility is managed by the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC), an organisation with over 25 years of experience delivering arts and cultural services to and for the multicultural and arts sector. BEMAC’s mission is to be “recognised nationally as the heart of multicultural arts in Queensland through the development, presentation and promotion of the artistic value, cultural and social worth and commercial potential of diverse multicultural arts and artists”.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
QMC is currently operating under the COVID safe plan for Queensland live performances venues/theatres, under the direction and guidelines of Queensland Health and Stage Queensland. Although Government regulations have eased, we are still awaiting Stage Queensland to release the new version of these guidelines for Queensland live performance venues/theatres. Until then, the QMC team are committed to ensuring a safe environment for both our workers and patrons and have taken extra precautionary measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus. We will endeavour to stay dynamic and Flexible as we continue to monitor and review our operations and work with you to meet your event needs. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Production & Technical
QMC provides in-house technical production services to deliver high standard technical support and customised solutions to create your perfect event.
Sound and Lighting
QMC has a wide variety of sound and lighting options that can tailored to suit your event needs. Our meeting and multipurpose rooms all feature an inbuilt sound system that has been designed and installed to deliver an optimal sound experience to all participants that is clear, free of distortion and able to be heard evenly throughout the room. The auditorium features a high quality range of theatre lighting that can be manipulated to suit the clients’ event/performance, these include, LEDs, Conventionals; and Moving heads.
Staging
A portable staging unit consisting of seven 2m X 1m panels (150mm high) is available for the hirers’ use and can be erected at approved areas of the QMC.
Video-Conferencing
High quality video-conferencing technology is provided in the boardroom of the QMC, enabling the flexibility of conducting a video conference during an event

QMC provides comprehensive event management services to meet your event needs. With over 20 years of experience in delivering quality events from live performances and festivals to large corporate networking events, the BEMAC team have the skill set to coordinate and assist you in making your event run smoothly from start to finish. Our passionate and creative team work alongside you to design and execute the perfect event that reaches your goals and objectives.
Ticketing Management
QMC works with an industry pioneer and global ticketing software company dedicated to providing affordable, efficient, and powerful ticketing solution. All ticketing can be managed by the QMC Box Office. Fees and Charges apply and can be obtained on application.

Event Promotions
QMC offers promotional support for our hirers, including event inclusion in the e-newsletter, website calendar listing, and social media promotion. If you are interested in this, please advise the QMC staff upon booking.
