Kieran is always upbeat and enthusiastic. He has been teaching both of my son's the Piano for quite some time, first face to face and this year mostly remotely.
They look forward to their lessons each week and are encouraged by his feedback and suggested goals.
My eldest son has been particularly motivated by Kieran and has seen enormous progress this year, despite the challenging circumstances. Kieran is always looking for teaching strategies to engage his students and having two quite different children this is really apparent. He does not just have one program to fit all, he gives careful thought to his planning and engages both the student and parent in this.

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy working with people to help them connect with their passions, and to grow through what is most heartfelt in their lives. It gets me out bed every morning to help inspire people to achieve their dreams.
What inspired you to start your own business?
COVID-19, in a word! I was teaching in students homes, and realised how much time and energy I had given back to me when we all had to transition to online lessons at the start of the lockdown in March 2020. When I started exploring what Zoom can do I realised I was offering a better quality of lesson to students because it allows screen sharing, and this meant I could develop resources to make lessons more immersive and fun! So I thought there has to be something in this, and Play By Heart Music is the result.
