What’s your interior design process?
Firstly we have a chat on the phone and I get an idea of what you need. We arrange a meeting to catch up - preferably in-person to go through your home and discuss the areas you would like some help with. I'll ask questions about your lifestyle so I factor in practicalities like small children, pets, whether you entertain a lot and need some areas to expand to cater for more people etc. If you don't have a clear idea of the style you like, I'll ask you a few questions until I do.
Then I'll confirm the scope of work and advise how much design work is required up front so there's no surprises. If you're happy to proceed, I get working on ideas and come back to to take you through my recommendations in person.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
There are so many styles I like to explore, but I do favour more contemporary styles over classic interiors. So if you like something a bit modern minimal, boho, safari, or relaxed coastal - that's all right up my alley.
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to bring a client's vision and style to life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always had a passion for interiors and all things home. I started my interior styling business so I could work doing what I love while balancing being a busy Mum.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can make a home feel polished and pulled together, but I'm pretty down-to-earth and unpretentious in the way I work with my clients. I am happy to steer you if you don't have a clear vision of what you need and would like to talk it through, I'm equally happy bringing a clear vision to life if you know the looks and the style you want.
I appreciate that most people would rather their money go into investing in their furniture than into design concepts and I have tried to structure my compensation accordingly.
