I booked Make me a Rockstar for a last minute party with less then a weeks notice for my daughters 5th birthday and Lauren was absolutely amazing! All the kids and myself loved the games and dances. I have had friends and family asking me which company I went through because they were all very impressed! We had a disco party & Make me a rockstar brung along coloured lights which really made the night that much more special and fun for the kids! We were accidentally matching aswell! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The right kind of awesome fun music, a big smiley warm face, entertainment, a limbo stick, and some inquisitive guests who are willing to give anything a go! :)
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Fun, bubbly, funky, genuine, ability to build rapport easily, engaging..can do a few mad accents to get everyone laughing ;)
What do you love most about your job?
The smiles on clients faces..whether it be the children who do a workshop and are excited about the part they played in a drama, or seeing a character walk through the door, or the parents who give me a huge smile from across the room with their wine with a silent "thank you" because I rescued the event that would have been crazy had I not come along. The little moments when the children with disabilities cause a tear in everyone's eyes because they are loving the music, or the surprised gasp because they never thought they would have sung on the microphones and they have. The moments of confidence and self esteem boosts, students that have seen freedom in their voice or written a great lyric, or the parent that looks across and sees their child asleep at the wedding and they breathe a sigh of relief. It's those little moments that make all the preparation before and after worthwhile, and why I keep doing what I'm doing all these years later.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was working for another company and loved it so much that when my neighbour said she was selling her business there was no hesitation in buying her business in 2011, and seeing it go from strength to strength since then.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am more than a gift or service, I am passion and heart, and all about the people that I work with as my priority. I've travelled the world as part of choirs, gone in competitions, and yet my favourite place is right with the people I get to work with locally.

She will assist in bringing out your best tone and range, strengthening your voice, equipping you to use your greatest asset for years to come without constriction. Lauren is passionate about seeing each person rise to their full potential and living in freedom within their voice.
