We had dinner here last night and it was amazing. From start to finish we had fast, friendly and efficient table service. We ordered Le P’tit menu with the Pairing wines . Really enjoyed the food. Serves of the meals were just perfect and the pairing wine was also perfect. Strongly recommend this place. We also had a window table overlooking the tree tops of Brisbane at dusk. Very romantic! Went to a friend’s birthday celebration. The food was spectacularly good. They matched the wines to go with the food and the choices were outstanding. La Belle Vie Bistro & Bar is a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, great meal and desert options coupled with a scenic view. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly care about your experience. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. We booked the restaurant as a venue for my mum’s 80th Birthday and had approx 30 guests. Simon and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in getting everything set up, having a projector and slideshow for photos, menu and drinks selection etc. The food was fantastic and all of our guests commented and complimented us on our choice of venue. It made the day really special and gave us some fabulous memories. Would totally recommend this restaurant as the service is above and beyond what you would expect. Thank you La belle vie! More...

New chef/owner. Still very French! Excellent service, superb food, great wine list with some French classics. It would be nice if the chef made himself known to the diners as did Romaine, we always felt welcome "one of the family ".

I have been there twice with my wife since they re-opened, and both times have been amazing !! the food delicious and the service is excellent! ! the mussels entrée is to die for and the lamb shank falls of the bone in to a delicious vegetable stew my wife had the escargot as an entrée and the prawns as a main and they were devine!! and for dessert we had a traditional crème brûlé and a chocolate lava cake yummm!!! the cocktails are awesome and they have a great choice of wine ! we will definitely be back!!!
